I bought this makeup remover to take off long wear liquid lipsticks and waterproof mascara and it only succeeding at doing one of those tasks. This makeup remover is a bi-phase liquid and looks a lot like oil and water and it basically mineral oil and water.

This makeup remover is quite greasy on my skin. Occasionally when I was trying to get off my mascara it would get into my eyes and it would cause my vision to cloud and fog.

This makeup remover does a great job at removing liquid to matte liquid lipsticks which can be quite tenacious and difficult to get off. But this remover does an awful job at removing waterproof mascara. It always leaves mascara behind. It says "gentle" and its right. It's too gentle to actually do much removing. I hate the fact that I have to use another method to get my mascara off, one makeup remover should be enough.

This is good for light makeup and matte liquid lipsticks but it's not effective when it comes to waterproof mascara.

For the price its a great product,.Great way to take off the eye makeup!!

I like Almay, so I buy this. It works well, but it leaves the eye area kinda oily which isn't bad before bed or if you plan on putting eye creme on. For me, I put on eye cream afterwards, and if it happens to be in the morning (if I forgot to take off my makeup at night), then I put on the eye cream and then I can put on eye make-up and it doesn't effect it. But I wouldn't recommend it during the day straight after using it.

I have somehwat sensitive eyes, and this product stings! It makes my eyes water, which makes it useless for quick touch-ups.

I've always thought that Almay products are good - good for sensitive skin! Now ladies, a lot of us love using mascara and eye shadows but I gotta tell you, this oil-free eye makeup remover from Almay does not clean well... it always leave residues and it stings! Although the label said that it is "good for contact lens wearers", I don't think it is quite for us. The alcohol content in this product really irritates the delicate skin around my eyes causing itchiness (may cause fine lines and such... ladies)!

Hence, I totally do not recommend this product to anyone. And as you can see here, I still have half a bottle left to use - might as well use it to scrub the sink!
