Great for music

This item has great sound and I love finding whatever song I want on a whim at any time. Lots of info on it just like a virtual google. I have one in two rooms. Definitely worth the money and so affordable too.

Lazy Man's device

I have multiple of them in my house. I have worked on making most of my house run on this device. It is ideal for being super duper lazy. It does get some issues with the I ternet being down, however it is still great. I control my tv from it. It also lets me know when my packages arrive from Amazon. During Christmas it even hides the fact of what is bought as gifts so the kids and others do not know.

Amazing.

I was unsure about this before I got it but it is one of the best things to have. It's very convenient, I love how you can ask Alexa anything and tell her to play music. She has some funny things she can do as well which is always good for a laugh! Definitely a 10/10.

Fun!

I purchased this as a gift for my son who was 11 at the time. HE ABSOLUTRLY LOVES IT! He can play music through it or ask for a joke to be told. This is seriously fun!

Great for me have two now

I love this... I have two .. one upstairs and one downstairs... they are so useful and I can do so many things with them...
Best thing is sleep sounds at night... sends me straight off!!

Needs more work done to it

It's a neat unit but needs a lot of work done to it. A lot of answers are "I don't know that one" and it gets very very annoying. It's good for some things like music, time, helping with basic things and questions. Some times just randomly talks when never ask it a question. Are they listening?? Who knows. I'm glad I got it for like $30.00 because I wouldn't buy again. I would like to see if the Google Home mini is better? It Gets very upset when you keep asking it adult questions which is so stupid considering most adults are the ones buying it.

AMAZON ECHO WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE

Fantastic output, sometimes has trouble reconnecting to wifi but easily resolved. Great sounding and many apps to use via Alexa.
Recommend buying this.

Enjoy it but.....

I get so annoyed when she says she "doesn't know that one"...or ' this is a sample visit Amazon
.."...also sometimes she starts talking when no one is in the room like someone is listening.

Handy little device!

I bought the echo dot as a companion to my full echo. The dot is in my bedroom, allowing me to control devices on my second floor. I use it most to add items to my various lists, which sync to my other echo, my phone, husband's phone, etc. I find this especially helpful when I'm busy doing something else and think of something we need ("alexa, add toothpaste to my shopping list"). I use it a little for music, although I feel the speaker is only ok in terms of sound quality. For $35 on sale, I feel I definitely got my money's worth.
