One of the best purchases I've made!

I've had the Amazon firestick for three years or so now and its seriously one of the best purchases I have ever made. I wasn't sure when I bought it if it would be useful or worth the purchase but it quickly proved it was. Its so easy to use and keeps all your apps on one screen making viewing organized and easy. Six months ago my remote quit working and I was worried about purchasing a new one and if it would be compatible or expensive. Turns out I didn't even need to buy one because you can download an app from your phone and use it to control it that way.

No more cable bill

I got this because i didnt want to have a huge cable bill, and i do not regret it i literally have 5 fire sticks, and its super easy to use! All you have to donis have Amazon prime, you can download tons off stuff to watch like netflix, hulu and more ! Ill never go back to cable ! It doesn't lag or anything been using it for almost 2 yrs now !

Great buy

I wasn’t expecting such quality from a budget friendly little stick. Since i don’t have a smart TV, it’s a breath of fresh air to be able to watch netflix and browse the internet as well as play games. A great a bargain at such a good value price point.

How did I watch tv before?!

I believe this is the best investment I have made within the last year. I used to use my console to control my apps, but the fire stick is amazing. Everything is all in one spot, the downloadable apps and free content is amazing, and it has been a huge life saver since "cutting the cord". Highly recommended over an android box.

Sad I waited so long!

I didn't think I would ever get a firestick because I thought it was just good for Prime Video. I was actually annoyed that Prime couldn't be casted by my Chromecast. I decided to take the jump to make the most of my Prime account and actually watch Prime video. Now The Firestick has totally replaced my Chromecast and is so much better! You can watch so many different apps and you can search using the Alexa feature. We're looking to get one for our bedroom TV now!

This works great! I can watch my satellite channels without being hooked up to cables. Great for watching Netflix and so many other apps too. I can’t believe how many channels I get now.

The Amazon Firestick with Alexa Remote? Just WOW!
First, let me take you back, maybe it was last weekend, maybe it was last night. You are comfy on the couch, dinner made, and dished cleaned. Chores done. Dog walked, emails sent, children hugged and tucked in. Whew! What a Day! You are looking forward to just losing yourself in the perfect show. Maybe its your favorite sitcom, or a good old movie hopefully without too many commercials, or really just about any good show will do,..your not picky, you just want to relax in front of the good old boob tube and get whisked away with the magic of television.....
WAIT,, the SAME SHOW is on nine of the channels? A lifetime B movie has more commercials than the super bowl and they are all the SAME 4 commercials? Okay, you have a great package... but admittedly you had to buy and ENTIRE PACKAGE just to get the two channels you really wanted. And those movie channels you thought would be so awesome, after a month you realize they basically show all the same movies over and over. So, you pick something tolerable and pay half attention until tonight show comes on.. way after your bedtime... C'mon, you can't get the stuff done that you do in a day and go to bed at 12;30!! Ten max! Those brains need sleep!
And im not even going to mention your monthly bill for cable. That would be, well, just plain rude.
HELLO AMAZON FIRESTICK!!!! You beautiful, runs on only internet, streams every movie /TV show/YouTubeclip EVER KNOWN to MAN, invention!
After experiencing Amazon Firestick you quickly realize that cable is the dark ages. Moats and commercials. Plagues and re-runs.Holy wars and TV Evangelists. Starvation and LIMITED CHOICES.
Stop throwing your sewage, and your money, out the castle turrets people. Get the Amazon Firestick. You can thank me after, but you might be so busy experiencing new shows that you might not have time.

Best value find

I went out on a whim for Black Friday one year and bought an Amazon Firestick on sale. BEST DECISION EVER. I have an Amazon prime account and the access to original shows and movies is AWESOME. I love love love my Firestick.

Great for anyone!

I do not have cable in my room so decided to get a Firestick and try it out. I am so glad I did too because they offer so much on it. You have to have wireless internet in order to use it and it basically uses it to stream movies through the internet. I subscribe to Netflix so I usually watch shows through this, but they offer many different platforms to watch different tv shows or movies and much more! I see they also have music on there so you could play music as well if you wanted to. I did notice they have an option to be able to use other remotes as well if you wanted to like an xbox controller so thats neat. I think there are some games you can play on there as well but I haven't really looked into it. There are many apps that you can download onto it and through the apps there are different shows with seasons or movies and you can access pretty much anything you want to watch. I love being able to have access to anything so you don't get bored with the same stuff or reruns like cable does alot. I even have watched new movies and older movies from when I was a kid and it is nice to be able to do that right from home. You do need to watch as some apps like Netflix require a subscription so you have to pay a monthly charge to have it to watch different things. So if you find one and subscribe to it and you decide you do not like it make sure that you are able to unsubscribe before moving on to something else otherwise you will end up having 50 different subscriptions you pay for amd may not use them all. If you have kids I would suggest adding a profile just for them as it blocks all content that would be inappropriate for them and it blocks any way for them to add any charges to your account. I must say this is one of the best streaming devices and I love it! I have not used the Alexa voice part on my remote but Im sure its a great help to playing or asking for what you want instead of searching so I will definitely have to try that feature out soon. Technology has come so far who knew we would have access to so much when not too long ago cable had just come out and not too long before that color tv came out!

I finally decided to invest in a Amazon Fire stick and my family loves it. I love that we can combined all are favorite apps together and watch form our TV. I also love the fact that it so portable and we can take it to family and friends houses.
