Love this mask! It's a great deep cleansing mud/clay mask for those with acne/oily prone skin. It works well for my super sensitive skin too and my favourite part is that it's vegan friendly, no parabens, mineral oil or harsh chemicals in it. The small dislike I have though is that there is fragrance in it but aside from that, it works like a charm and its super inexpensive
This is a really, really nice mask. Thinner in texture than some kaolin clay masks, it spreads evenly and is easy to rinse off. It has a bit of a strong minty/lime scent, so I avoid the eye area when applying to keep them from watering. Leave it on for 10 minutes to dry, rinse off, and voila! Smaller, cleaned pores, and beautiful, smoothed skin. This mask can be used once or twice a week and I definitely recommend it for some skin pampering.
The Spring Clean Deep Cleansing Mask has got to be one my FAVOURITE masks ever! I don’t say that lightly because I’ve tried alotta masks. This is a kaolin clay mask so it’s very deep cleansing and extremely purifying. It doesn’t dry to a rock hard finish so it’s not as uncomfortable as other clay masks. Peppermint and lime purify and make your skin feel cool and slightly tingly which I know not everyone loves, but I do! The scent is also incredibly invigorating and has cleared up a headache or two for me. My skin feels so fresh and clean after removal that I never want to wear makeup afterwards. I don’t want to mess with the canvas I’ve created!
I'm not sure how many people actually use face masks, but I love them! Whenever they go on sale I grab one. They're perfect for giving your face an ultra clean feel. Amie's deep cleansing mask did just that! It went on so smoothly, and didn't make my face feel tight like some other masks do when they dry. It also wasn't hard to get off afterwards.
The only problem I could find it that it has an ongoing tingly feeling which some people might not like. I love it, so it doesn't bother me.
The mask is such a treat because of the lime and cooling effects. My skin instantly looks brighter after I take it off and it feels really soft and supple. I really like using this after a long workout session to help cool me down and get rid of the excess dirt and oil that has been built up. I put it on for 10 minutes so it has time to dry and then I take it off with some warm water and the clay easily comes off.
If I could only buy one product from the Amie skincare line, the Spring Clean Deep Cleansing Mask would be it. The combination of lime butter and peppermint smells like something you would want to eat. Use this twice a week, but especially on hot days. The cooling effect is such a treat on the skin, it's amazing. It's supposed to draw out dirt and impurities but also soak up excess oil and prevent blemishes. My skin looks and feels great afterwards. This is going to replace all my clay masks.
I received a few products from Amie as they've recently launched in Canada at select Shoppers Drug Marts and am completely smitten with the Deep Cleansing Mask. It's a gentle clay mask that only takes ten minutes to work, but it deep cleanses skin and pores and leaves them feeling refreshed and reinvigorated thanks to the mint and lime in it- it also has a minty-lime scent. It washes off easily as it doesn't dry to a super hard mask, and is the cutest mint green colour too. Love it and the fact that at $12 it's a steal!
