So, I can now totally understand all the hype & the reasons why this palette was in such demand and sold out for long periods of time! Being a self-confessed makeup junkie & addict, having tried & owning many palettes and products, I have to honestly say that I LOVE THIS PALETTE!! I don't know how I've ever lived without it, & never can for the rest of my life!

This palette can certainly work for everyone, no matter their eye or complexion colours. It is perfect in every way. The different shades can be used in such a variety of ways to compliment everyone. I have blended as few as 2-3 shades to as many as 5-6 shades to achieve my desired looks, each look generating compliments from my colleagues to my customers, and I have only owned this palette for almost 3 weeks now.

Just a quick note in using this palette: the shades are very highly pigmented, so definitely use a light hand when dipping in your brush! A little definitely goes a long way, especially when using the reds/pinks. It's much better to build up then trying to remove the excess.

I definitely believe that this palette is worth the $55.00 that it retails for. The colour pay-off is worth it in itself, and I feel that because the shades are so pigmented, the palette will last a long time. A customer of mine is a makeup artist & uses this palette everyday, and has just hit pan on one of the shades. She purchased hers at Christmas, FYI.

This palette is worth the hype! The shadows are creamy, pigmented, bendable and absolutely stunning on the eye. You can create so many looks with this palette from daytime to evening, it is worth the investment. If you are a fan of the ABH brand, this is as good as it gets!

I LOVE this eyeshadow palette! This was the palettte that got me hooked onto eyeshadows! The colours are amazing and inspire me to create all kinds of looks! It blends so well and it so pigmented! I use this everyday. The shadows stay put all day. It's heaven on earth. I bought a back up before I knew it became permanent in there line but I just ADORE this

Anastasia Beverly Hills modern renesaince palette is AMAZING!! The colours are freakin beautiful and have excellent colour pay off. The eyeshadow blends seamlessly and easily. It is a bit expensive but it is SOO worth the money!

Part of me didn't want to get this because it was so majorly hyped up I couldn't believe it was that good.

Now that I've used it, I completely understand why everyone loves this so much. The quality of this is phenomenal.

I have very sensitive eyes and most eyeshadows send my eyes into a flaky disaster. With this palette, I can wear it every single day and my eyes don't react, the product is amazing.

It blends like a dream and the colours are so pigmented. I definitely recommend this.

This is the best eyeshadow palette that I have ever purchased! I find myself using it practically everyday! I have no clue what I was doing before this came into my life! It is extremely good quality and highly pigmented.

This is a gorgeous palette! Each shade has amazing pigment and they all glide on and blend like a dream! The brush it comes with is super fluffy and makes blending super easy and all of the shades are very flattering!

Once I bought this palette, I threw all of my other eyeshadows away. I mean, this has everything I need. I don't do bold eye colors, I'm too old for that now. And I'm black, so these shades fall into my neutral zone.

Pros
They apply like a dream and have great color payoff! I always use eye primer, so I can't speak for how they work without it. They blend easily, but maybe not completely foolproof for beginners. There is something for everyone in this palette. And it's a good, well thought out mix of matte and simmer shades.

Cons
While I haven't noticed ANY fallout (BIG pro), even gently touching my brush to the shadow cause a LOT of loose powder to form, that we will all inevitability blow away because we don't need THAT much product on such a small area. While I'd rather see that loose mess in the palette rather than on my cheeks, it still seems very wasteful to me. The darkest shade is a bit hard to blend, but that could definitely be user error, and not necessarily am issue with the product itself

My first surprise came upon opening the dusty rose box. I have to say I am not a big fan of pink color in anything, but this color really gives it a romantic feel. What I didn’t expect is the velvet packaging of the palette. It is stunning!

The palette contains 14 eye shadows. They are mostly matte, with a few fine shimmers/metallics. Colors range from neutrals to pinks/berry and earth/orange tones. A double-ended shadow brush is included. It’s soft, and I love the small side of it, while the bigger side is a bit too puffy for me.

I finger swatched the shadows - they are very pigmented, so much that I had to rub hard with a face wipe to get swatches off my arms.

All types of shadows are included: transition, highlight, liner, crease. This makes this palette perfect to travel with. You can get an array of looks, from natural to smoky, from day to evening wear.

Since the palette contains mostly matte shadows, I have to focus on them. They are unlike any other mattes I have ever tried. They apply very smoothly, not patchy when applied, even over a primer, and they blend really well.

A tip I got from a girl at Sephora: Vermeer and Primavera can be used as nice face highlighters. I didn’t try this, but swatches show that they would work for my skin tone and that would make this palette even more travel-friendly.
