Intriguing read

Anatomy of a Scandal is told through different pov's and jumps between past and present. The husband, a high ranking British minister is accused of rape. The story takes us through the emotional turmoil of the victim and how one tries to cope with a justice system that is not always fair. It also shows how powerful people believe they can do as they wish with no consequences. Anatomy of a Scandal is engaging but also feels somewhat forced. At times the story dragged but there is a twist that keeps you intrigued. The author did a great job of character development and the glimpses into the British court system was fascinating. Received as ARC from publishers via NetGalley for review.
