My mom purchased this set for me 11 years ago as a house warming gift, they have turned out to be the best gift ever. I use the bowls on an almost daily basis, I use them for serving dishes, and for all my baking needs, as mixing bowls. I love that they are good to go into the microwave, this comes in handy when trying to melt chocolate or butter for baking. One of mine now has a small crack in it after I dropped it in the floor at Christmas when I was making cookies, I almost cried because I love these bowls so much. They are priced well and stand up to the test of time. I do find them a little heavy but I have small hands, so to some they may not be so heavy, so it can make them difficult to use when making cakes (when you go to pour out the batter, they are a bit heavy to lift and pour from), but that should not keep anyone from buying them, as they do stand up to a beating and last a long time because of the great quality.

I got this set because I saw it was on sale for a little under $10 and it had so many different sizes of bowls. They're perfect for everything and you can find a size for everything, it was a great purchase! They're also very durable.

Very sturdy thick glass mixing bowls set. Just plain glass but they say glass is so much better to store food in these days than plastic, which if you are not careful can leak toxins. I have gone back to the basics now and replaced most of my plastics with glass. Anchor Hocking is a really trusted brand, it's been around forever. These bowls are great for mixing ingredients, storing things in and also serving.

I needed a bowl and saw this. I bought this bowl at Walmart about a month ago and I found this bowl is really good and pretty sturdy considering it's a glass bowl but it's very thick and good quality. Can be used for cooking or other stuff. I only paid 5 dollars for it, which to me is a good deal.
