Nice eye cream, but a bit drying

I like this eye cream but I'm undecided on whether I would re-purchase. It feels nice and has a cooling sensation, and it seems to actually help with puffiness. Only thing is, I tend to have to apply another eye cream over it before makeup, because it's a bit too drying on the skin. Maybe because it's a serum and not a cream. It's nice either way, no fragrance, no irritation.
