I bought the AngelSounds Fetal Doppler Jumper when I was pregnant for my now 17 month old daughter. Since I had several miscarriages prior to having her I was a nervous wreck whenever I didn't feel any movement or my symptoms disappeared. I seen this Doppler available on eBay and was a bit sceptical cause it was a product coming from China but it was priced less than 25$ so I decided to give it a try.

It did take about a month to arrive in the mail and when I finally received it I was about 18 weeks pregnant and very excited. When I opened the box I became even more sceptical than I was when I purchased it. It looked looked to me like a cheap piece of plastic. That night I decided to try to find my daughter's heartbeat. It took only a few minutes and my husband and I found it. So although it didn't look like much it worked. And whenever I was feeling nervous I would reach for my trusty Doppler and find my babies heartbeat.

The AngelSounds Doppler comes with a pair of headphones ( but I used my own cause the ones that came with it were uncomfortable in my ears, a usb in case you want to record your babies heartbeat on the computer, and an instruction manual. I did not look at the instruction manual because it's pretty straightforward. It does not come with any batteries so I did have to get a 9v battery. After that there's a volume adjust power on. Then I would apply Aloe Vera Gel and place the circular part on my stomach and move it around till I found the babies heartbeat. The sound is great, I could hear it clearly. Some people might get the babies heartbeat and the placenta sound mixed up but the babies heartbeat is very fast. My daughter's heartbeat always averaged around 130 beats per minute.

So if you have had previous losses or you just want to monitor your babies heartbeat once in a while I would definitely recommend the AngelSounds Fetal Doppler Jumper. It's inexpensive and it works. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant but I have only used it twice this pregnancy since I have had an amniocentesis and know it's a healthy baby but I still like knowing I have it at hand in case I ever have any worries.
