100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
The eyeshadows sold in this quad are inexpensive, and very highly pigmented. I definitely recommend these eyeshadows. I have a gold shade, and it has the perfect amount of glitter that doesn't make my eyes look tacky.
The Annabelle Custom Quad Compact is the perfect item to store your individual eyeshadow pans in. It is sold empty so that you can customize the colors you want inside. The compact itself is very sturdy and can fit into your makeup bag for portable use. The design is very hip and modern, with words written in graffiti-style on the lid in black. It comes with a colorful paper insert which you can remove if you'd like. In this way, you are able to see the shadows inside the compact. The Annabelle eyeshadows, which can be found in Canadian drugstores, are both affordable and of excellent quality. The individual pans fit perfectly inside the magnetic compact and can be removed with ease if you need to switch the colors for different looks. A great gift for any makeup lover and a very useful item to have in order to organize your makeup bag.
Who knew Annabelle eyeshadows were such great quality? I recently got the compact and several mono shadows from Annabelle when I visited them in Montreal and have been blown away by how pigmented and smooth the shadows are. They are comparable if not better quality than much more expensive brands.
You buy the quad empty, then fill it with your favourite mono shadows, which are about $4.25 each. In the end you have a compact with exactly the colours you wanted, for a fraction of the price. I'm really impressed. Thumbs up!
I stumbled on these on sale, and once I had swatched a couple of the shadows, I couldn't say no and HAD to buy myself an entire quad. These shadows are VERY pigmented and are very smooth to apply. The custom quad concept highly resembles MAC, which is great! I got the entire compact including shadows for UNDER the price of ONE MAC shadow. Insane! I highly recommend this.
You get to pick four eyeshadows from a vast selection of colours, and get the case for free. Each eyeshadow costs around $4-something, so you get four shadows and in a box, for a bit over $20.
The colours are very pigmenty, they shimmer but not so much that all you see is white glitter and the colour itself is overpowered. I've worn them in the morning, and even by evening they're not creased, or melted, nor have the colours gone. It of course fades a bit over time, but so does the most expensive MAC or Lancome eyeshadow.
I've converted many a mac-eyeshadow-ers with this palette :-) myself being the first! I love MAC, Lancome, and Urban Decay is my other favorite eyeshadow makers, but I have to say, for $20, the qualty of this set can totally compete with any of the above.
I can't rave enough about these shadows, but really you just have to go try them! The worst thing I can say about this series, is it took me forever to choose the four I wanted to try first!! There are just too many choices! :-)
