Incredibly effective!

I’ve never used a makeup brush with this kind of style before, only the more traditional ones. To be honest, I felt like it was a bit gimmicky from reading the description, but from the second I started using it I was sold. I have massive problems with foundation clinging to dry parts of my skin and as a result I’ve used so many methods of applying. I tried the heavily recommended wet beauty blender method, a makeup drop tool, a regular brush, my fingers; I feel like I’ve tried so much. I was even considering a sonic foundation brush. None of the methods have solved or even reduced my problem, so I wasn’t expecting this to either.

I’m shocked, because this applies foundation so much better than any of the other methods I’ve tried. Basically, you squirt two drops of liquid foundation into the well in the centre and start buffing circularly around your face. I found that it was enough to cover a little more than half my face and by repeating it once I could get an even coverage over my whole face and neck. It barely clung to my dry 'problem' areas at all and seemed to help the foundation cover up, rather than enhance those.

The brush is so soft, bendable and comfortable on my skin. It doesn’t shed at all and I really have no idea how it does it, but it applies the foundation so easily and well. I would actually buy this brush and I’m a bonafide cheapskate.

The only negative I can say is that I did find it quite hard to clean the brush, foundation gets so deep down in the bristles that it’s hard to clean it well, but it’s absolutely worth it for a painless, fast and simple foundation application. Obviously, I’ll report back in the future if there are problems over time, but right now I’ve found a new dream makeup brush!
