Wasn't for me

I recieved this free to test. I love my white cheddar pasta but this one wasnt that good. The cheese powder stayed clumped so it didn't mix that well and the taste was very bland to me.

Decent ingredients, chalky taste

I received Annie's shells in white cheddar from Family Rated in exchange for my review.

I did kind of like the taste, I usually do for white cheddar. But I found this one to be kind of chalky.

I appreciate the wholesome ingredients, but I don't think I would honestly purchase this in the future because they're generally more expensive than regular Kraft dinner or store brand versions of them. I feel like if you're going to go through the added expense to supplement your kids diet with something slightly healthier, you're better off just making a white cheddar sauce for your own pasta.

Not my cup of tea

I got to try Annie’s white cheddar shells pasta for free for my honest opinion. Unlike other Annie’s pasta which I loved, this is a hard pass for me. I found shells become sticky and cheese clumpy. Amount in box is less than the competitors but almost double the price. Value and quality doesn’t equal the cost. My children would not eat it

Lacked flavour

The kids were so excited to test this one out first and unfortunately they did not enjoy it. Not enough cheese flavor even though they did like the cute shell noodles. It needs more cheese sauce/taste though.

Lacking Flavour

I was excited to try this twist on regular boxed macaroni and cheese but I am sad to say this one isn't for my family. We found it to be very bland. There was no real flavour to speak of and we had to add lots of seasoning. We did like the shape of the shell pasta and would love to see it offered with the cheddar cheese flavour.

Ah... not for me

I had the opportunity to try the ANNIE'S HOMEGROWN SHELLS & WHITE CHEDDAR MACARONI & CHEESE and am not a big fan. It didn't have much for taste and wasn't very cheesy. I would add a bit more cheese powder for mixing in the package. This might be Man n cheese for some but not for me. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Watery, grainy, needs improvement

I have purchased Annie's mac and cheese in a box before and since they have improved the taste of some of the other varieties, I had hoped it would be the same for this one. The White Cheddar and Shells is still just okay. When prepared as directed, it ended up being a little watery, grainy texture from the sauce, and the shells are so tiny even when cooked a little past al dente. I love the idea of organic mac and cheese and a quick dinner but this version is a pass for me until they improve the formulation.

Shells&White;Cheddar

I was choosen to try #annie'sshellsandcheddarforfree.It was nise to try something that we didn't try before! I allways love to have in my kitchen something that I can cooke for my kids easaly and fast! So Annie's Sheels and cheddar was reaaly easy and fast to cooke,but unfortenatly my kids didn't like it...it was too salty for them and I didn't added salt at all when I was cooking it.So it didn'y work for us...

Not for me.

I tried out the elbow macaroni and cheese "Yummier than ever" before I cooked this box.
I did not like that the blue box elbow macaroni lacked in cheese flavour - this mac & cheese had much more flavour but I was not a fan.

After learning from the first box of mac & cheese, I didn't follow the instructions found on the box so that I could have a thicker sauce; I didn't use exact measurements and I included the optional butter.

I have never been a fan of white cheddar so this mac & cheese wouldn't appeal to me. Although it is more flavourful than the orange cheddar, I think that adding meat and veggies easily enhances it; it seems to lack something to be satisfactory on its own.

I would not buy this product again

This is a good product if you like mac and cheese in different cheese flavours. My son loves mac & cheese and pastas with cheese so I assumed he would love this product. He did like it at first but after awhile he found the flavour unappealing so for that reason we wouldn't purchase it again. Good product, just not for us.
