A natural botox exfoliant!

I attended a beauty event last month, entitled "Beauty Date x MTL", hosted by Skinvestment. Apoterra Skincare's Exfoliating Facial Mud Hibiscus was one of the many discoveries from the event.

The brand is based in NYC and uses natural ingredients to resolve adult skincare issues such as dry skin, adult acne, and premature aging. The Exfoliating Facial Mud Hibiscus mask has a granular texture which comes from a combination of hibiscus, sugar, oats, yogurt, pumpkin and honey. The ingredients used in the mask make exfoliating so much more gentler and a great alternative for anyone with sensitive skin. And I've learned from the beauty event that hibiscus is considered as the “botox plant”, which helps the skin's cell renewal and improves elasticity!

I didn't expect to see such a tremendous difference in my skin after using it just once. I have really dry skin and my skin was so soft, it felt like baby's skin! And the scent of this mask is just divine, it smells like homemade jam. I'm glad to have discovered this little gem that can be used as a cleanser, mask and scrub!
