I recently bought an 8GB third generation Ipod Touch. I decided to start with a small one to see if I liked it. Turns out I love it and will be upgrading to the 64GB. I love the Wi-Fi capabilities. It can run off the smallest signal. The touch screen is easy to work & it responds well to your touch. I like being able to store music, videos, and pictures. I like the games & it is very easy to use Itunes. It is definitely a winner when looking for gifts for teens. I love the texting capabilities after you buy the app. It is a great alternative for those who don't have the money to have the internet & texting on their cell phones.
No need to worry about PDAs anymore. The itouch is GREAT for the life of a medical student. It allows us the applications we need to check dosing for meds on patients out on the wards, while also serving as entertainment at the gym. All in one the best Mp3 player on the market.
Apples Ipod Touch's ARE REALLY GREAT. I ake mine everywhere i go! It can play music, go on youtube, play games and much more. definatly reccomended to everyone who loves music and games!
I got this for christmas from my boyfriend and I was so excited. I take a lot of pictures and this thing makes carrying them around really handy. I also use itunes and can store my music on here it's great!
Probably one of the best devices that I've ever purchased.
I was always looking for a portable device to bring to conferences to surf, take notes, twitter, rather than a laptop, but was also good for entertainment on commutes, etc.
An iTouch really does it all.
Although it's a little cumbersome for music on the go (running or the gym), it's the applications and other uses it has built into it that make me forget about it and, well, forgive it a little.
Plus, there are sportbands and cases that can be purchased that can make it less bulky during activity.
Great device.
When I first bought this (about a year and a half ago) I thought it was a little pricey and I had a hard time knowing if I was going to be able to use it enough to justify it. But now I know that it was worth every penny! The touch screen is amazing and the enitre thing is exretmly easy to use. I love everything about it. It holds all of music, pictures, tons of games.. there is even something that lets me keep track of what I eat. I take it when me everywhere!!!
This iPod does everything. I have all my music, important dates, the best Apps as well as my email set up on this device. It's sleek exterior looks so cool. I use my ipod touch for everything imaginable. I can look up recipies as well as have all the latest fashion updates with my Chanel, Ralph Lauren, and Style.com applicaitons. I twitter constantly while listening to my favorite podcasts. I totally recommend everyone who doesn't currently own an Ipod to run out and get a Touch. It's waaay more than your average mp3 player. It's a new part of my life I am not willing to give up ever!
The iPod Touch...whats not to love! Where do I even begin to start. This brings new meaning to music player, because it is so much more.
Let me start by saying it is touch screen. A motion sensitive touch screen, turn it sideways and the screen is going to turn with you... how cool! From the touch screen you can access a variety of "buttons".
WIFI compatible you can access a number of online features. There is the Safari browser, You Tube, itunes (download movies, videos and tv shows right to your device.)
You can listen to your favorite tunes it even stores artwork or album covers. You can watch videos and tv shows. Get rid of your infamous "brag book" and show off your pics right from the screen of your touch. Eliminate your planner and your address book because this baby has it built right in! To top it off there is a clock that host world time, stop watch, alarm clock and timer. And lets not forget the calculator.
This is "customizable" it has brightness settings, background choices, auto lock, pass code, sound effects, built in keyboard. Can you tell I've been drooling since the moment I got it!
Last but not least lets not forget that you can get on your personal computer and upload your already existing music and video files, just remember if you are using Windows you have to have XP service pack 2 or better. There are also a host of apps you can download, whether it be games, access to Mapquest...you name it. The only downfall I can think of is that it is a sensitive device and accidentally drop it a few times you could be looking at a cracked screen or the display being obstructed. So if you are shelling out this kind of money invest in the extended warranty.
I love my iPod Touch and don't see any reason why you would be disappointed if you got one too!
My husband has a 16gb iPod Touch and he loves it. I'm so jealous. I want one for myself. He has hacked it and put all the iPhone applications on it as well as a bunch of other applications and games. We use the Google Maps when traveling. As long as you scroll through the maps to cache them before you leave you can use it as an offline GPS. He converts our daughter's DVD's and plays them for her in the car to keep her occupied. It's crazy to think that this tiny little device is more powerful than the Mac I used just a few years back. I have nothing bad to say about this device except that my husband spends a lot of time on it. ;)
