Buy a BIG tub if you have a baby with eczema

My first born has had several mild cases of allergic eczema since he was a baby. This is the first line of defense against it and it almost always works. I hardly ever have had to resort to steroid creams, because Aquaphor almost always does the trick. And, obvs, it also works great to protect little butts from diapers.

Lifesaver

Not even exaggerating. My toddler has severe eczema with frequent flare ups. We tried all different kinds of creams/lotions that I got from mom groups. Out of all of them, this one is hands down the best and only barrier style cream that really works for my daughter. I'm not sure where you can find it other than Amazon, but that's where I got mine from. I had to special order it from that site and I ordered multiples and lots of them. I keep one tube in my purse and even one in my work locker to keep my lips and hands hydrated. I am an ICU nurse and often have to wash my hands and it can get pretty chapped, cracked and even bleeding. This product helped heal them. Again, Lifesaver

This is one of my holy grail baby products! My son has eczema and his doctor gave us some of this to try out and it has helped so much.Aquaphor is the cure all in treating dry skin, treating skin rash, treating eczema, treating diaper rash. They really should use this stuff to solve world hunger or something, its just that amazing.

Really effective

This has a similar consistency to Vaseline, but that's the only thing similar about them. All Vaseline does is lock in moisture and prevent it from escaping - it doesn't actually MOISTURIZE. Aquaphor, on the other hand, moisturizes and heals the skin. It's great for when skin is really dry and/or cracked because it doesn't sting the way some other creams would. However, due to its consistency it's visible upon the skin when applied so it's best before bed.
