This "mini" fan has turned out to be a far better product then I was expecting when purchased at amazon.ca, to the point where I am no longer using it for the purpose I intended it for, but have given it to my son to replace the bigger, louder, and not nearly as well made fan in his bedroom!

The fan is slightly larger then expected, but still small enough to clip to the side of my desk out of the way (my original purpose for purchasing this fan). The product description does give a very accurate size of the fan, however, I think I skimmed over that when I saw the word "mini" and didn't realize it would be larger then other "mini" fans I have tried.

There is no comparison between this and other battery operated mini fans out there, as this fan is solid and well made, and it displaces ("fans") far more air when in operation then other small fans. The clamp is also well made and stronger, clamping easily onto table edges, shelves, bed headboards, etc. Our dog (large Labrador Retriever) has knocked against it several times without dislodging it from wherever I have it clamped, yet it's not clamping so hard as to do any damage to any surfaces.

It's very easy to use, with two speeds. The USB cord is long enough to be allow lots of movement in placing the fan. When my teenage son heard how quiet it was, and felt how much air it moves, he asked to try it in his bedroom to replace his larger and noisier fan. He has attached it to his headboard, and is using an old USB block he had to plug the fan's cord into and then use the wall outlet for power. He can't believe how much more comfortable he was sleeping the last several nights with the quieter fan - I am not getting it back from him.

I purchased this fan for my own use at a discounted price in return for my honest opinion and review, although this in no way obligates me to provide a positive review. I think that this fan was a great purchase - it is well made, bigger and quieter then I expected, and can be used virtually anywhere in our home. I highly recommend this product!
