In my opinion, it is rather expensive, but it works well. Our cat's liter box is located in our mudroom. In the summer when it's hot, the smell can be pretty overwhelming. We found this liter met its' odour-control claims. As a rule, our family is not a fan of scented liter. Most of the fragrances are worse than the smell of the liter box! However, the Arm & Hammer Clump and Seal liter has a scent that is not overly perfumed. It really does keep away the smell of the cat's waste. There was no dust, and the clumping action was great.
If I could afford it, I would definitely make this our normal brand of cat liter.

Si j'ai pu essayer cette litière s'est grâce au ChickAdvisor Product Review Club! Lorsque j'ai vu le prix en magasin, je l'ai trouvé très chère pour la petite quantité de 6.4 kg. J'ai deux chats donc deux litières et cette boîte ne peut remplir qu'une seule litière. À ce prix, je ne peux en acheter autant. J'ai bien aimé le bec verseur intégré à même la boîte il est très dure à ouvrir (mon chum a dû venir m'aider!).

La litière est SUPER efficace!! L'odeur de sans bon reste bien plus longtemps qu'une semaine et elle est bien agglomérante! La texture de la litière est comme du sable. Elle se ramasse bien et on ne ramasse que le nécessaire. Ma chatte préfère cette litière moins granuleuse, car elle a changé de litière pour faire ses besoins. Je crois que c'est parce qu'elle aime qu'elle ne lui reste pas prise entre les pattes. Par contre, le fait qu'elle soit poudreuse fait plus de poussière dans la maison, car elles est fine et plus difficile à ramasser.

Je la recommande et je l'adopterais définitivement si elle était moins dispendieuse!

I was excited to try this kitty litter until I picked up the box, barely enough to use as top up of my large sized litter box ( I have three cats). I rated the A&H;litter as two stars with regards to price as it was far too expensive for a family on a budget to use as their regular litter - 7X more expensive than the effective (and cost effective) litter I buy at Costco).
The quality I gave four stars to, only because one of my kitties has a problem with scented products, but the clumping factor was fantastic!
Effectiveness was definitely six stars out of five, even being used as only a top up, it smothered the stinkies cats seem to be so proud of.
I can see myself buying this occasionally to mix in with my regular litter, and after I win the lottery this will be the only litter I use.

I got the A&H;Clump and Seal litter free as part of the Chick Advisor program. I was looking forward to see how it would work with our two adult cats and their litter box.
It really lived up to its product claims: definitely was low dust, clumping ability was wonderful, low tracking and low odour.
We have been happy with the litter we are currently using, and haven't had a problem at all with dust, tracking or odour. The A&H;performed somewhat better with its clumpability!
I would definitely recommend this litter to anyone with cats, and if I could find it for a price similar to the litter I am using now, I would make it my regular brand. For now, though, the A&H;is a lot more expensive.

I recently added a fur baby to my family and as I'm sure everyone knows, the litter box is the worst part. (I think I'm going to have to try to toilet train her! LOL)

Odour Control - Let's face it. Everybody poops. Even cats, & it doesn't smell good. The odour control for me, was fair. I found that I could certainly tell a difference with the new litter, I'm holding that to the magical power of baking soda. I scoop every night to help control odour, but with A&H;I could skip a day or two without asphyxiating myself.

Low Tracking - Well... I have a 3 month old, obnoxious kitten. The low tracking was good, but she still manages to get that stuff everywhere. LOL

Crumbly Clumps - WORST PART EVER. I definitely noticed a difference using the A&H;litter. I hated when I would scoop and there would be all of these little "bits" hanging about with my old litter... SO GROSS. The clumping power with Clump&Seal;was great!

Ultra Low Dust - I didn't have a huge issue with my previous litter with dust, so I didn't notice a huge difference when I tested the A&H;litter. This is good though, low dust = less hacking/gagging during changes.

Do they live up to their claims? -- Yes. Arm&Hammer;has done a good job with their Clump&Seal;litter. I think it could only get better if they could make a litter that would make the little piles totally evaporate upon contact with the litter. LOL (maybe one day, right?)

Price Point - It IS a little bit more expensive than my previous litter.
OTHER LITTER: $1.07/KG (AVG)
A&H;Clump&Seal;: $1.48/KG (AVG)

Is it worth it?
For me, I'd probably spend the extra couple of dollars for the extra odour control.

Thoughts on Packaging:
I'm not a huge fan on the cardboard boxes. Eco friendly? Sure. Water friendly? No. Accidents happen folks... & usually to me. haha I personally enjoy the hard plastic containers with the resealable lids or a plastic bag with a resealable zipper. HOWEVER, this is NOT a deal breaker for me.

Overall:
I really enjoyed my experience while testing the Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Control Litter. I would certainly repurchase this product and would recommend people to give it a try if they have the chance.

I have had the opportunity to try Arm and hammer clump and seal kitty litter ( Thank you chick advisor) Product features include complete odour control for 7 days, I cant really comment on that one as I've had a cold for the last week and a half and cannot smell anything at all. Low tracking, this is true my cats always without fail end up with kitty litter EVERYWHERE in the last week I have noticed that there is less of it to clean up. No crumbly clumps, again this is true and makes it quicker and easier to clean out the kitty potty. Last but not least ultra low dust, this I noticed right off the bat with my regular kitty litter when u pour it in u get a plume of dust right in your face however with this litter you don't. Price however is something I cannot justify, I usually empty instead of just clean out the litter twice a month the box we were provided to test just fills the box nicely Walmart currently sells this kitty litter for 10.88 so I would pay 21.76 for 2, the litter I currently us lasts 3 months and costs me 8.00. In my opinion I would recommend it for its features and how good it works but I would not purchase it again because it is just not worth it to me.

I was able to test this product and just wanted to say I love it more then max scoop and so does my cat It covers up more of the smell its easier to clean I will be switching to this starting after I finish the little bit of max scoop that I have leftover

I receive it as part of review club. Overall it wasn't a bad product. The only con for me was the allergy I get from it. It is a little dusty (all clay based are) this is why a NO for me. After pour some of this litter , I started to sneeze and become congested. The same happened when I have to remove solids from the litter. As for effectiveness I must say it does a good job. Unfortunately I couldn't use it for for longer. Usually I use wood pellets (Canadian Tire $5 !!!) and I am gonna stick to it for now.

Received the chance to have my cats try Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter for free via ChickAdvisor. We have 2 cats, Baby & Ginger, they are both 8 years old.
After using it for a week, I find Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter very effective as in clumping and sealing. I don't smell any cat urine at all while other brands still leave some smell behind. The clumping of Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter is great. Makes it so much easier to clean up everyday, you know the scooping is hard when it doesn't clump well. Compare to other brands we have used I would definitely recommend Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter to other cat owners, it works! (But the price is a little bit too high for our tight budget, to be honest)

The name says it all. Clump & Seal - it does clump the used litter together and does seal in the smell. My laundry room does not smell like a litter box :) It works just as good if not better than the more expensive brand (Maxx) that I have been using. Little to no dust when cleaning out the box which is GREAT!! The dust was my main problem with the other brand I was using...it just seemed to get everywhere. I'll keep using this brand if my picky kitty continues to us the litter box. A few years back I changed brands and she refused to use the box. So far so good with Arm & Hammer.
