Not great

This is a good idea for a toothpaste as I have used activated charcoal toothpaste before but this is just a typical drugstore toothpaste with a small addition of natural Ingredients

So so

Didn’t like the after taste of this. Very unpleasant. It does leave teeth feeling clean and smooth though

Decent toothpaste

This toothpaste made my teeth feel clean but I also like toothpaste to help whiten my teeth which this did not.

Totally Horrible!!!!

Just received this for free by ChickAdvisor. Was really excited to try. But would never buy and did not like it at all. Did not like the consistency and texture of the paste. Tasted gross too. Baking soda is good for your teeth. But all I tasted was the charcoal in the toothpaste. Which grossed me out. Would NOT recommend it.

Essentials Blanchir + Charbon

J'aime bien les ingrédients et surtout que ce soit exempt de éducolorants artificiels et colorants, agents de conservation, parabènes et LSS. Je n'aime pas le goût prononcé de bicarbonate de soudre et l'arrière goût que la pâte à dent nous laisse en bouche. J'aime aussi me brosser la langue pendant mon brossage de dents mais par la suite j'ai eu un drôle d'effet de picotement et comme d'engourdissement de la langue que je n'avais jamais expérimenté auparavant. J'aime bien l'emballage et la présentation du produit.

More mint, please!

I really wanted to love this toothpaste as it is natural and has charcoal in it but it is hard to get past the strong baking soda/salty flavour. I also didn't like that it doesn't have fluoride in it so another star lost for that. I didn't really notice my teeth getting whiter but I plan on finishing the tube (alongside a fluoride toothpaste) to see if I can notice a change.

I would be more inclined to purchase this again if it had fluoride and a stronger mint flavour.

A decent toothpaste

I received the ARM & HAMMER Essentials Whiten + Activated Charcoal Fluoride-Free Toothpaste for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. This toothpaste has the typical baking soda taste as it contains 100% natural baking soda. I am not a big fan of the taste initially but got used to it after a few uses. The toothpaste foams quite well and leaves your mouth with a clean, minty feeling after. In terms of whitening effect, I didn't notice any big changes after using it for a few days (maybe a slight improvement). The paste is greyish in colour and doesn't leave a mess in your sink like some charcoal toothpastes.

Arm & Hammer Charcoal toothpaste

I didn’t care for this one as much as the peppermint one. I found that it was very gritty & that I didn’t care for the flavour. It does make your teeth whiter though ! All & all between the two Arm & Hammer toothpaste the peppermint takes the cake over them both !

Need to get used to the taste

Got it for free with the Product review club. This toothpaste has a similar texture to regular toothpaste. Although it has charcoal, it is not messy. I didn't notice too much of a difference in whitening in 3 days, but may just need to use it longer. The taste really does take getting used to. You may like the natural flavour, but the taste of baking soda is quite strong. Combined with the fact that this toothpaste has no fluoride (which you may like), it is not something I personally plan to use everyday. I will continue using it occasionally to see if it whitens my teeth.

Not impressed with the taste

The color of the toothpaste is a light gray because of the charcoal . I do appreciate the use of essential oils and charcoal and a toothpaste however I did not like the flavor of the baking soda. I had to rinse right away because the taste was a turn off however it did go away afterward and left a minty,v clean feeling.
