Horrible taste

I’ve been searching for a good teeth whiting tooth paste. This one is not it. It definitely works however, other products work just as well and taste so much better.

If you don't have fluoride in your water don't use this

I got this sample from a sample program. It wasn't great. I used it for a week. I'm not likely to buy this myself. Activated charcoal is proven to do anything for your teeth. And the fact there's no fluoride makes me nervous about the health of my teeth. My teeth felt clean, however.

Dentifrice ARM ET HAMMER

Clean teeth with an after taste.

This toothpaste is great for whitening and get a great clean. I personally found it much to gritty and did not like the taste at all. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not Recommended

I was excited to try charcoal toothpaste. I was a bit nervous that it would be black but it only had a dark ribbon of charcoal. It had a good flavour but I don’t think it made my teeth any whiter. I actually think it made my teeth look dull. I heard that you actually should not use charcoal toothpaste on a regular basis. In the end, I returned to my usual toothpaste brand 3D White. My final thought is this; if you are using a cheap toothpaste, perhaps ho ahead and make the switch, but if you’re happy with the toothpaste you are using, stick with it!

So I had a really hard time with this one, I couldnt bring myself to use black (or grey) toothpaste. When i did finally get the gumption to use it, i was pleasantly surprised by its flavor. It wasnt terrible. but it wasnt good either.
The toothpaste says whiter teeth in 3 days, however i didnt notice ant difference in the whiteness of my teeth.
I would not recommend this as the grossness of the toothpaste didnt seem to give me any benefits aside from the same fresh breath and clean mouth feeling that any othjer toothpaste would give me

Not a huge fan of this toothpaste

I only received it 4 days ago, so I cannot give a detailed review. You can taste the baking soda flavour, which I do not mind at all. I find it tastes decent. My teeth feel clean after using, but I have noticed that my mouth has tasted gross much earlier in the day while using this toothpaste. I have a feeling my breath is less fresh than usual as a result. I also do not like that it is fluoride-free, as my town stopped adding fluoride to our water, so I personally want all the fluoride I can get. For people that are anti-fluoride, this is probably worth a shot for you. I can't comment on the whitening effect, as I have only been using it for 4 days and I know it is not realistic to expect a noticeable difference that quickly (despite it saying it whitens in 3 days).

No difference

Was very excited to Try this product for free. I had never used charcoal before so I was a little hesitant but liked how it was free of a lot of stuff you didn’t even know what in your toothpaste which is cool. I have been using this for three weeks now and I haven’t noticed much of a difference although the packaging says that you should see results in 3 days. Will have to try something else for whitening.

Wasn’t my favourite

I wasn’t a big fan of the toothpaste. It tasted strange to me and I didn’t see any different results.

Not that great

I got to try Arm & Hammer Essentials Whiten + Charcoal Fluoride-Free toothpaste with natural baking soda and clean mint flavour. I #gotitfree through ChickAdvisor.  Overall, it's not that great.  The toothpaste first came out white.  You need to massage it to make sure that the charcoal mixes all the way through.  There is not clean mint taste, it tastes exactly like you would expect any baking soda toothpaste to taste.  It says it will brighten your teeth in 3 days, I have been using it for 5 days now - 3 times each day - and have not noticed any brightening.  It generally costs around the same amount that I pay for my regular brand.  I will not be purchasing this item.
