A Great Toothpaste that Works!

I received the ARM & HAMMER Essentials Whiten & Strengthen Fluoride Toothpaste for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. This toothpaste contains 100% natural baking soda so it has the typical baking soda taste. I didn't like it at first but got used to it after a few uses. The toothpaste has a light minty flavour that leaves my teeth feeling fresh and clean. I especially like that it contains naturally-sourced calcium that works to strengthen enamel with each brush. It also has fluoride which is an added bonus for me. I did noticed some whitening effect using it for just over a week. I can't wait to see if there will be further improvements after a longer use!

Works well, hate the taste

The good things about this toothpaste are that I love that it's a natural product and doesn't have SLS, dyes, or anything artificial. It does work really well. I had fresh breath for a long time after using it and my teeth looked fantastic.

That said, I really did not like the taste. The first few seconds of it I was like wow this is really not good, at the end of two minutes of brushing I felt almost nauseated. The baking soda taste in this toothpaste is just so strong it tastes really yucky. I didn't get the mint flavour from it at all. Just based on taste alone I wouldn't be able to recommend it to people. It does also have a gritty almost texture to it that I think a lot of people would not be used to in their toothpaste. I'm not sure how I feel about the texture either.

I was excited to try this toothpaste because of the natural ingredients while still having fluoride to protect my teeth but the flavour just fell short.

It's natural

This was my first experience with natural toothpastes. I was concerned about the taste of baking soda but actually, it turned out much better than I expected. Essential oils help freshen breath and I loved the feeling of cleanness. And what's most important, no SLS, parabens and artificial dyes. I think, for people who are looking for more natural products, this toothpaste is a great option.

I loved the way this toothpaste felt when brushing my teeth. It doesn't have a horrible taste. Ingredients list readable. I will definitely be using this again!

Arm & Hammer Peppermint Toothpaste !

I just love this toothpaste! You can definitely tell that this product is from arm & hammer because you can taste the baking sofa at work! It makes your mouth nice and fresh and I found that it lasted a while. It also has a great flavour that’s not too strong.

A decent toothpaste with simpler ingredients

#gotitfree with Chick Advisor's product review club. It left my teeth feeling clean and has fluoride for cavity protection. It also hasn't caused any sensitivity. However, I don't really notice any whitening effects.
Also, you can definitely taste the baking soda more than the mint when brushing, but after rinsing, you are left with a fresh mint aftertaste. It lathers more than some other natural toothpastes and probably is more similar, aside from the taste. If you are already used to baking soda or "natural" toothpastes, the taste probably won't bother you.

Great toothpaste

Arm & Hammer are usually my go to toothpaste and I was exited to try the Essentials toothpastes. I really liked the Fresh Mint one, it leaves you with a fresh sensation and actually helps whitening your teeth. This toothpaste doesn't have any artificial sweeteners or dyes, preservatives, parabens or SLS which is a great plus!

Good toothpaste, but strange texture

Overall a pretty decent toothpaste. Has that baking soda aftertaste, as expected. The initial texture is similar to that of icing (which is very strange), but quickly melts into a toothpaste texture. Decent toothpaste but not sure if it would be something I would purchase in store.

Visibally whiter teeth & great taste

I love ARM & HAMMER's new Essentials Whiten & Strengthen Fluoride Toothpaste, my teeth are visibally whiter and I love the taste as I have fresh breath for hours after brushing.
