I usually use a manual brush, or a rechargeable spinning brush from another brand, but this was a first for me. The Spinbrush was definitely easy to use. The brush head wasn't too large that it felt awkward, and it wasn't too small to make the brush time tedious. Definitely preferable to a manual brush, as the cut of the bristles, and the way that it moves, allows me to get to all the odd crevices of my teeth. The fact that it uses batteries makes it easier to replace, than a plug in rechargeable system. It is a little on the loud side, but the fact that it helps to ensure that I have cleaned right, helps to balance it out. I would consider buying it, as I have seen it roll back on Walmart for about $5, and there is sometimes a $1 off coupon in the local paper.

How did the Spinbrush™ perform based on its advertised benefits (easy to use, good cleaning results, etc)? It worked great. I never expected it to work as well as it claimed, but it really does do all that it claims. It removed all plaque and actually whitened my teeth.
How did the Spinbrush™ perform compared to your usual manual toothbrush? It worked much better than a manual brush, especially on the back teeth.
Would you consider buying another Spinbrush™ in the future based on your trial experience? I would consider it for sure.
Would you recommend Spinbrush™ to a friend? I would definitely recommend this tooth brush.
I was lucky enough to be one of the people who received the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Truly Radiant Toothbrush for free to try from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was really excited about trying this tooth brush as I had never tried a battery powered toothbrush before. The very first time I tried it I could feel and see a difference from using my usual manual toothbrush. The brush really got up under my gums which I really liked and my teeth felt very smooth after using it. I was able to reach the very back molar teeth on both upper and lower and it even worked for brushing my tongue. My mouth over all felt very clean after using this toothbrush. I also felt like my mouth stayed cleaner and fresher for longer than using my manual toothbrush. I would definitely recommend this toothbrush as it is a really good option for people who can't afford the more expensive battery powered toothbrushes.
I received the Arm & Hammer spinbrush free by Chickadvisor.
I was really excited to try the toothbrush when I received it. I used it for 1 week and I did find my teeth to be smoother, cleaner and whiter, brighter. It wasn't my first time trying a spinbrush.
This is a good alternative to the more expensive electric toothbrushes, especially for how well it cleans! This is the best battery operated toothbrush I have ever tried. If you want superior clean teeth you have to spend more money because I have one and it cleanes better with rechargable batteries. They should add a timer for 2 minutes. It would be easier to know how long to brush.

This was the first time trying a spinbrush. I have always used a manual brush. Reason being I always felt that the battery operated brush's head are too wide, but I'm glad as I got to try this brush. This has changed my thinking.
The spinning head really cleans well. Its basically the brush going an extra mile, without you doing a lot of work. You can feel the difference in cleaning compare to a manual brush. You can literally feel the squeaky clean feel when you roll your tongue across your teeth.
This is something I would recommend to everyone for a better oral hygiene experience. I went out and bought my son a spinning head brush as well.
I received the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Truly Radiant Toothbrush to try for free. I have used this toothbrush for one week and found that along with a whitening toothpaste, my teeth appear to be brighter! My teeth feel very clean after using the toothbrush. My mouth felt cleaner after using the spinbrush than after my regular manual toothbrush. I did not like how much the spin brush vibrated, however, as it felt a little too powerful for me. I have sensitive teeth and I am afraid that after using it for a longer period of time, my teeth may become even more sensitive. I also found that the head of the toothbrush was quite big, although I could get used to that. The one major problem I had with the spinbrush was that 2 times it would not turn on and I had to fiddle with the battery compartment on the bottom of the brush until it worked. I did drop it into the sink early on in the week, but if that caused the problem with the toothbrush not working, then I would be reluctant to buy one in the future, or recommend this to anyone. Overall, for the money, this is a good alternative to the more expensive electric toothbrushes, especially for how well it cleans!
I received the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Truly Radiant from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club in exchange for my honest opinion and review. I liked this brush, the bristles were broad and my teeth felt clean and looked good...however, I felt the brush was very noisy and as I'm usually the first up and last to bed in my household, it really acted as a deterent for my using it. I'm not sure if maybe I got a bum brush or what but I felt it was too noisy and probably wouldn't purchase for that reason. To be fair though, it is a decent brush and I did like the results. If the noise isn't an issue for you or your family, I would definitely recommend.
Thank you ChickAdvisory and Arm & Hammer for the opportunity.
Cheers, Lisa

I was really excited to try this because I've never used an electric toothbrush. First the pros. I liked the tiny brush head. It was able to clean my teeth great and get inbetween each tooth. My dentist has recommended me to use children's toothbrushes because my teeth are very tight against each other. This solves that problem.
Cons: It's loud. I'm not used to the noise when brushing my teeth. Also, I travel a lot but I would find this is too bulky for packing away, compared to a manual toothbrush. Alsoo, I wouldn't want to risk losing its power while I was away.
Overall, I would continue to use this on a day to day basis to see the long term effects.
I received this from the review club to try.
I both loved and hated this toothbrush! I loved it at first for the following reasons: It made my teeth feel cleaner than a manual, when angled along my gum lines it made plaque leave the pockets (making flossing easier), it gave my mouth a very clean feeling, and it isn't too heavy a toothbrush to hold.
However, I did not like the fact that it was so loud! It also was so big it made it near impossible to reach the back of my furthest back molars (had to use my manual to get the back molars clean...). You cannot brush your tongue with it, or your inner cheeks (both necessary things) so you would have to buy a separate tool for that (maybe just an el cheapo manual toothbrush). It was difficult to use the switch to turn it off an on again, especially if it gets a bit wet (I had to use my fingernail to grip the switch so it would move. not easy).
Now, the biggest issue I have with it: It worked great for the first 5 days, but by the 6th day it started to "cut out" while brushing my teeth. I would be happily brushing, and then it would "stop". It would start up again a few seconds later. It got progressively worse the more I used it, from not turning on at all to only staying on for maybe 5 seconds at a really reduced speed. By day 9 it was officially DEAD. I tried replacing the batteries with fresh new ones, but nope that didn't work. The toothbrush itself is dead as a doorknob! I don't want to pay $7.99 tax every week to have a toothbrush that works when a manual will never fail me.
If they were to correct the problems (the switch being hard to turn off and on, it dying within 9 days of 2x a day use, the loudness, and the size making it impossible to clean your back molars) then I would definitely buy it. However, with these problems, I do not see myself buying this toothbrush.
