Normally I just use a manual toothbrush so I was anxious to see how much cleaner my teeth felt after using it. As soon as it arrived, I brushed my teeth right away. The way my bottom teeth lay, I can always tell when I am getting a bit of plaque build up on the back of them and ready for my next cleaning. I am booked for a cleaning soon and so my teeth aren't feeling their cleanest right now. Even after that first brushing, the back of my bottom teeth already felt different, like some of that buildup had been removed.

I have been using the toothbrush religiously now for almost 2 weeks and my teeth feel so much cleaner and look even a little bit whiter.

If there was any complaint I could make about this toothbrush, is the motor is a bit loud, but nothing I can`t live with.

This one is definitely a keeper. I am curious to see what my dentist has to say about my teeth when I go in for my cleaning.

I think this toothbrush has probably saved my teeth and gums. I am a very aggressive tooth brushes, but I can't help it. I know the risks of receding gumlines, but it's something I can't help. I haven't used an electric toothbrush since I was a kid, but this provides a beautiful clean that lasts overnight and best of all it's gentle on my gums while still getting a clean feeling on my teeth. The handle has a nice grin and is a good size to fit in the hand. I love how the replaceable head has indicator bristles to let you know when it is time to get a new head.

The Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Spinbrush does have some negatives, but there's also a lot of good to it and let's face it, it's a huge upgrade from a manual toothbrush.

Even compared to a high end, fast speed electric toothbrush I've tried in the past, I felt much cleaner around the gums, so I was pretty impressed with that. The instructions didn't say if you are supposed to move the toothbrush in a brushing motion while it does it thing, so I gave it a gentle brushing motion while it worked and I much preferred being able to brush almost like normal, but with the added cleaning the battery power gave. And compared to my manual toothbrush, I felt five times cleaner, even if I didn't floss.

Another benefit I noticed is that the vibration is a lot lower so it didn't cause the tickling sensation in my nose as badly as a high frequency brush would. (If you get that tickle, you know what I'm talking about!).

Improvement wise, the battery section was almost impossible to get open, I needed my husband's help. So I would recommend a redesign in that area. Also the button to switch the spinbrush on was very difficult to press (and would be impossible for those with mobility issues in the hands are arms) and if your hands were even slightly wet, it wouldn't budge. I would prefer a push button mechanism.

It's also quite loud and rumbly (Like an AC unit or fan level) and I felt guilty using it at night, as I live in an apartment.

Last, and this is a minor gripe at best, it does tend to get quite dirty. No matter how much I shook it off and rinsed it, it always dripped gunky water where it was drying and tended to get toothpaste residue stuck in the joins.

There's definitely room for improvement in the design of this spinbrush, but the bristles and it's cleaning power is actually perfect. After a week's use (morning and night) I do think my teeth looked whiter compared to the beginning of my testing period.

Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth buying this over a manual - especially at this price - but in time an upgrade to a more expensive option might be more well-suited to you, it just depends on what you're looking for.

I normally just use a manual toothbrush and have been thinking about buying a battery powered one. I was excited to use it. It is very powerful and I just let it do its job. It removes more plaque and stains like. It's bristle really get in between your teeth so I feel like my teeth are much cleaner now. I noticed less mess when I floss. This toothbrush is worth the money.

This is a very powerful Spinbrush - it felt a little strange using it at first due to the strength but got used to it very quickly. The Truly Radiant Spinbrush makes my teeth feel extra clean/fresh, even the hard to reach , it felt like I came from the dentist. I could see a difference with one use. It has two different heads one spins and the other goes up and down so you get both brushing techniques in one.
Compared to my old manual toothbrush this is amazing - really helps polish, clean your teeth.

So I got this toothbrush complementary for review. Before trying the spin brush truly radiant clean and fresh I was using a basic Oral-B toothbrush. I would like to say my mouth is fairly small so I usually choose toothbrushes with smaller heads so it's easier to reach every part of my mouth. I've been using the truly radiant toothbrush for about two weeks now. I like it although I find the motion and the size of the toothbrush a con. I personally don't like the spinning battery operated powered sensation I feel like it's too harsh on the teeth. Regarding size I would say the head of the toothbrush is A little too big for my mouth to reach my back molars properly . I would preferred to just use my small headed toothbrush over this on a daily basis just for those two simple reasons. Other than that this toothbrush does have some amazing features like the floss clean bristles with specialty freshening cups and also the head changes colour when it's time to replace which is in my Opinion awesome. I also believe that it removes plaque in buildup off teeth faster than a normal toothbrush which is also another bonus. Thank you so much chickadvisor and truly radiant arm and hammer toothbrush for giving me the opportunity to try this! it was a pleasure. Also I will add it didn't really make my teeth anymore radiant I need to pick up some whitening strips !!!

So I use an Oral B electric brush. The one with the round head. I love that thing, but I find myself still scrubbing my teeth as I would if I were using a "manual toothbrush". Dentist says I have to let it do the work, but I think the head is way too small. Along came the Arm & Hamnmer Spinbrush. I didn't think it would work well because it runs on batteries. Well to my surprise, this little gadget is powerful! I love the handle, easy to use. And best of all, I get the round head and a bonus square head that goes up and down. Well I wasn't scrubbing as hard and I actually felt this product work and cover way more space when cleaning. Now when my Oral B dies,(which may be soon), I will be switiching to the Spin Brush. And as an added bonus, I can take it on trips!!!!

I always had difficulties to brush the teeth in the back of my mouth with my regular toothbrush and I was pretty amazed to easily be able with this one! Plus my teeth feel clean longer than before. I couldn't test the bristles that indicate when to change the head because I had two week to test it and you change the head evry three months. And I thought it was a bit too noisy but my mom said it didn't wake her up so I guess it ain't that bad. In the end, I would buy this toothbrush again and I would recommande it to my friends and family. #GotItFree

I received this from Chick Advisor as a tester, i've used it about a week now. I have never used an electric tooth brush before. I was a little scared by it ruining my enamel so the first couple days i think i was pressing beyond to light lol once i figured out the pressure thing I felt my teeth were cleaner after brushing my teeth. The things i do not like about this; 1. i wish there was a lid or case that came with for traveling purposes 2. they opening for batteries and taking off the top is no where as easy as it makes it looks.. you need some muscle.over all it's a great tooth brush and I will probably continue using it.

At first, I thought the brush was really loud and aggressive. It took some getting used to after using a traditional toothbrush for so long. Now, I love it though. It actually does give a deeper clean, it gets everything and leave a lasting clean feeling. I will definitely continue to use this, and I want to get one for my boyfriend as well.
