This is the sixth book in the Assassin's Creed novel series. It introduces the reader to Edward Kenway, and follows his life story, as he becomes a privateer, then a pirate. It is a must read in the series as it ties tighter with the previous book, and actually happened before the previous book. Great writing and a great story.
