I love the original Aunt Jemima Syrup and thought this variety would be good also. It wasn't. The taste is so overpowering and sickening sweet. The entire flavor of this syrup was horrible.

I absolutely love Aunt Jemima's Original Syrup. I figured putting some added butter flavour in there would make it taste even better! It most certainly does not. This does not taste like butter. I don't know what flavour it's trying to mimic, but whatever it is, it's horrible. It's way too sweet and totally overpowers the taste of the waffles or pancakes. I really regret buying this and now feel obligated to use the whole crappy bottle up.
