Whether this will be worth it depends on what the main purpose is. If the main desire is to have a lightweight, compact steamer that can be transported without taking much room in the luggage, this will work. If there are heavier than lightweight fabrics or if there are time constraints, this is not a good option. It takes a few minutes to warm up the water and then steam the fabrics, much like a kettle. It works fine for silks and lightweight fabrics. However, it just does not produce enough power to remove the wrinkles out of canvas or denim. It just might run out of liquid before it can make a dent.

The price is comparable to a number of mid range steamers that are just much more powerful. If you do not care about the weight, look elsewhere.
