Works great but $$$ and temporary
I have anaemia and so incredibly fine thin hair that breaks easy. An Aveda salon recommended I try this trio. I kind of blanched at the price tag but thought I look like I am going bald so why not. I tried the product. You have to use a lot to build up a lather which you do not want to do when it’s beyond the price of rubies. Lol. I liked the product and I have to admit afterwards my hair looked and felt thicker but that only lasted for about a day.
I cannot wash my hair daily. Not only can I not afford to wash it daily with the cost of the product but I lose a lot of hair when I shampoo. I think the product looked and smelt high quality but for my needs I cannot wash my hair daily nor afford the cost and I am not a high maintenance gal.
Did not like
I did not like this shampoo. First, I found I had to use quiet a lot more of it, than other kinds, because it did not distribute through my hair at all. I had to rub it in really hard, which I feel like caused me some hair breakage. Also , I did not see any of the benefits of the exfoliating nor the reduction of hair loss.
Thickening!
Recently purchased the Invati Advanced™ System by aveda which consists of a Shampoo, Conditioner and spray. This system is said to reduce hair loss (due to breakage from brushing) by 53% after 12 weeks of use and instantly thickens the hair when applied once daily. My hair has thinned over the years and breaks easily so I decided to try this out. I have used this system 2 days in a row and I have already noticed a difference with thickness, so I'm hopeful. I also really like the smell! I'll make sure to provide an update in a few weeks :). Excited to see how it turns out!
Please bring back the old formula
I loved the old formula and repeatedly spent over $150 for the litres. But this new formula, my hair doesn’t feel clean. Also with the old formula I feel split ends were less of a problem.
Please bring back the old formula.
Great Smelling
I have had this shampoo for several years because of the cost I use it sparingly.
I love the smell and I always enjoy that Aveda products are all natural
Placebo effect? At least it smells nice
The aveda invati line is pricier than their other products. but - i think if the shampoo/conditioner/treatment are used together, it works quite well. Not sure how effective each item would be as a stand-alone. The shampoo itself doesn't lather (in case that annoys some people), but smells nice in a herbal-ish way. Probably will repurchase, but will definitely try others first before coming back.
