Makes my hair soft and smells so nice.

A hotel our Family stays in provides this product in all their rooms and sells it in their Spa. I know it is a pricier product but I am hooked! It really works while feeling great. Even my 5 year old loves how it cools off her head while I am washing her hair with it while we are away, and now at home. It makes my scalp and hers, as well as my Husband's scalp tingle and cool with the very pleasant mint and it gives us a quality and thorough cleaning without adding any build-up on our hair. It leaves our hair soft, clean and smelling of mint. This product is a WINNER! The other Aveda line products are great as well!!! Try it and you too will be a believer!

It is a pricier product for sure - however it works. I love the tingling mint feeling on my scalp and it gives me a thorough cleaning without stripping my hair. It just becomes soft and beautiful afterwards.

it's a bit more expensive than regular shampoo but it does a good job in cleaning the hair and leave it smooth. I particularly love the scent...so refreshing ! perfect !

I am over the moon about this shampoo! The scent is so relaxing and the quality of the product is fantastic. The only qualm I have is with the price but it makes for a wonderful personal treat. My only problem now is that my family uses it up instead of saving it just for me.

Great aromatherapy shampoo. Leaves your hair smelling fresh and feeling light. I've even had this shampoo taken from me from a male friend who turned believer and now uses it all the time!

I am not blown away by this shampoo. I had pretty high expectations given that it is such a cult favourite and I have to say that I feel it is pretty mediocre. Aveda advertises it as being "good for all hair types" which should have been my clue that it wouldn't be anything special. I have curly hair that tends to be more on the wavy side when it gets long (as it is right now). I have been using this for more than a month and I have had pretty average results. I'm not saying it is a bad shampoo, it is just nothing spectacular.

It does the job of cleaning my hair, detangling it and making it soft and shiny. It does not do anything that great it terms of volume or frizz and as my mother pointed out, my hair was pretty shiny and soft to begin with. As many other reviewers have mentioned I did enjoy the invigorating sensation of the mint on my scalp, especially when you rinse the shampoo out. It feels tingly, clean and refreshing. Plus the scent is amazing, though it doesn't stick in your hair after you leave the shower. Also, it's a small bottle and I would have thought you would only need a small amount to create a decent lather but the opposite is true. I feel like I use a large chunk of the bottle every time which makes it really not seem like a good value for the price.

Overall I will probably not repurchase this, nor would I recommend it to a friend but again it's not because I didn't like it, I just wasn't "wow-ed" by it.

Love this shampoo! I don't normally splurge on expensive salon brands but this one may have changed that.

I first tried it when staying at the Vdara in Las Vegas as they use this as their toilettries. I loved the smell of it! It made me feel invigorated.

Now smell alone is definately not the most important part of a shampoo (although it can't smell bad!). This shampoo cleans my hair wonderfully and leaves it so soft. Now I have super oily hair and have trouble finding shampoo that cleans it and doesn't leave build up. I am sure it works great for normal hair too. I simply only use the conditioner every other day for my hair. Although this is a very nice light conditioner that goes with the shampoo.

Overall I love the awesome soapy lather I get each morning waking up with this great smelling shampoo.

I used to work in a salon that used Aveda products and I absolutely loved them. This was one of my favorite shampoos from Aveda. It smells very natural, of rosemary and mint. The best part is during the wash, your scalp feels so cool and refreshed, and after, your hair has never felt cleaner. With that said, Aveda is really good about making products that benefit your hair and don't strip all the natural oils out. One recommendation I do have for this is that if you color your hair, I wouldn't use this particular line from Aveda as rosemary/mint are generally lifting agents, which means that it will make your color not last as long. Besides the incredible smell, and sensation during the wash, this shampoo is very high quality and leaves your hair healthy and shiny. I would recommend this to anyone (except those who color).

I use this shampoo when I tire of the dull flatness that pharmacy brands can create over time. The cost is not so bad considering you really don't need to use that much to get the desired results. It works great for my hair - I have quite thick hair and my sister has thin hair, but both of us love how it doesn't weight it down. And no frizz! But the best part is the smell. I love starting off my day with that classic Aveda smell. Yum.
