A Total Surprise!

I received this product to test via ChickAdvisors product review club and was totally surprised by how much I love it.The name "leave on mask" baffled me, but once I tried it out I was sold. Not only is my skin lightly moisturized, it smells amazing and it extremely soft. The price is right and I'll be purchasing again.

A Mask to Remember

Having always loved trying all sorts of masks- I was curious to see how Aveeno worked. It is a brand that I trust with my sensitive skin, and I love how it made my face feel soft and hydrated afterwards- and noticed how my skin feeling much more quenched after a week!
Did not break out and I love the scent of this product. It's a keeper!

Smooth non oily and smells great!!

I was given the opportunity to try this product for free and I'm so glad I got to try it. My face feel great! It goes on Smooth, smells amazing and isnt oily or greasy. I even put some a bit too close to my eyes and didn't feel like I was going blind!! I'm not sure if it reduced any lines or not because I've only been using it for a short period of time. I haven't purchased anti aging creams before so I'm not sure if the value is right however I think it's a good value for the size of the bottle and what it is supposed to do. I would recommend it to a friend! #gotitfree #absolutelyageless

Skins feels great!

This was such a confusing product to test when I first received it (for free). Looking at the product instructions, all it says is "Apply evenly over face as needed." That's it. The product description doesn't tell me what this is even used for. Is it to be worn during the day? The night? Under other products? Over? Huh? You can give someone a toolbox and tell them to use the tools, but they need to know what the tools are used for first.

After some trial and error, I ended up using it when I woke up after cleaning my face and before putting any makeup on. I should first say that it smells amazing! Especially when I leave the house and my nose picks up a light waft of fragrance; puts me in a better mood. Initially, when I put it on, my skin feels a little tight like "HIDE THE WRINKLES! STAT!" and the sensation usually stays for a couple hours after that, especially around the eye wrinkle area. What I like is that it immediately gives my skin that healthy "I worked out" kind of glow. It does leave some visible dryness on my face, so it's a step lower than a moisturizer. It actually acts more like a primer because my overall face texture is smoothed out leaving a better canvas to work on.

My only major gripe, other than the poor product description (seriously, it just explains the Absolutely Ageless collection, not the product itself), is the price. For almost $30 you get a small 38mL bottle. Yikes!

Another Great Product from Aveeno!

I love Aveeno products and this product is another great one. When I use Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Leave-on Mask, my skin looks and feels great. It has a great texture and it absorbs easily. It also feels lightweight and non-greasy on my skin. The SPF 30 if a major bonus for me as I always have to add another layer on my skin for sun protection.

This Aveeno lotion works great under makeup and it can stay on my skin all day without clogging my pores or feeling sticky. Oh, and, the fragrance... HEAVEN!

Good product, nothing too special

This product is effective at moisturizing, however at times I found it to be almost greasy. I have been using it overnight for the past week, and while I do wake up with hydrated skin I haven't found any difference to the texture of my skin. I find the scent to be a little too strong, it's nice at first but it seems to linger and is just a little over the top given that it is a face product. I would say this product is average at best, it moisturizes but it is too heavy to wear under makeup and it doesnt live up to its other claims. For the price I think there are better options available.

It works, but no better than others

I have been using this product for just over a week now. I'll go through what I think of this product bit by bit:

Packaging: Cardboard box around a plastic tube with a pump top. Honestly I think this is overkill. There a lot of duplication of information on the tube compared to the cardboard. I'm honestly not a fan of a pump top product as you are always either fighting to get the last bit out or wasting product and starting a new bottle.

Actual Product: The thickness is quite nice. Feels lush, and goes on smooth, absorbing quickly. Hydrates nicely. The scent though, is quite sharp and off putting. I actually find it too strong to put at the top of my cheeks where I would pair it with eye cream. This is quite strongly scented for Aveeno, and that surprised me.

Results: A week in and while my skin is still nicely hydrated, I don't see any great changes to the texture. Considering the price, I'm underwhelmed. There are less expensive, higher volume Aveeno products that do a similar job.

Take it or leave it

I've been trying the Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Leave-On Mask for about a week now. I can honestly say it is not my favourite. I haven't found any significant changes in my skin. I feel that the lotion is a little sticky and doesn't make my face feel smooth and soft like I expected. As well I'm not a fan of the scent at all.

For the price of a bottle I expected way more and won't buy it again.

Aveeno Absolutely Ageless is absolutely lovely!

Thank you @ChickAdvisor and @AveenoCanada for sending me #absolutelyageless leave-on mask! I love skin care products - they are my favourite thing! #gotitfree I am thrilled and excited to be able to try this product and to leave my review! I don't think I have ever tried Aveeno before, but have always thought highly of the brand.

This light as air lotion comes in an attractive 38ml plastic container, with a pretty purple lid, and an easy to use pump. It also comes in a box (excessive packaging perhaps?) with lots of information on the box. It claims to be a pre-tox mask (?), supercharged anti-oxidant nourishment for visibly younger looking skin (yay!) It contains active naturals - blackberry complex.

I question the 'natural' moniker, as there are many warnings about keeping away from children, contacting poison control, and keeping out of eyes (I can honestly say it stings like the dickens when accidently placed near the eyes - ouch!!)

I wish the product contained more directions, as they are quite vague about its use. It only indicates to apply as needed (morning? night? how often?) I have been using morning and night. It does say it is perfect under makeup.

The lotion is super light and absorbs quickly. It is scented. But i like the scent - it smells like berries! It didn't leave my face feeling sticky or greasy at all. In fact, I loved the feel of it on my face, leaving it feel soft and smooth. I can't wait to see whether my fine lines are reduced and my texture improved with prolonged use!! So far, I am loving this product. I am not sure if I would pay over $20 for it; however, I am enjoying it nonetheless, and will use it until the bottle is empty!

The name 'leave-on' mask is also confusing to me -- when I think of a mask, I think of something rinsed off and removed.

In any case, I recommend this product. I have high hopes that after continued use, my skin will appear healthier, smoother and more radiant :D Thank you!

radiant glow

I received AVEENO ABSOLUTELY AGELESS LEAVE-ON MASK through Chickadvisor for testing purposes for my honest opinion.

I have been using it for over a week so far.
To start I like the scent. Its refreshing actually.

I use twice a day. I have noticed my skin is a little softer and more even, I have not noticed any improvement with fine lines yet but my skin does seem a bit plumper.

It is easy to apply and I wear in under makeup and on its own. My skin looks very radiant and and my skin has a glow after applying it. It really does make your skin look more youthful as soon as you apply it.
I like that it has antioxidants for your skin which is essential for youthful skin,.

The price is a little high for the amount of product you get for a drugstore brand but I do like it so I am considering buying it depending on how my skin changes after finishing the bottle.

I have stopped using my other moisturizers in the meantime and I find that this is enough for me and it has kept my face hydrated all day.
