My whole family loves this body wash. Great to relieve dry winter skin but also great in the summer.
I had to start looking for a body wash that would not affect my sons skin. I purchased this once and his skin condition had improved, now I purchase the lotion, and shampoo as well for him. Great product.
I also got this on sale at Costco. It keeps my skin moisturized even though I take lots of hot showers. My skin doesn't have reaction and I'm not bothered by the smell.
I bought this because it was on sale at Costco, and when I tried it, I wasn't blown away. It had a nice light scent, it was quite gentle, and left my skin moisturized. Not that much better than the Dove body wash I had been using. However, once this bottle was done and I switched to a bottle of Ivory, I truly realized now how good the Aveeno was. I realized that I took for granted that: 1) you really don't need to use much at all (a loonie-sized amount, lathered up well should do all or most of your body), 2) the smell is very light and not perfumy at all, and 3) it doesn't leave a sticky/waxy film. I had tried this in the summer, so not sure how it stands up against dry winters, but on days when I didn't use moisturizer after the shower, my skin was still good. If you're hesitant because of the price point, you really have to take into consideration that you don't need much of this product. I must say though, I don't have sensitive skin, so can't comment on its effectiveness for sensitive skin types, but it does feel gentle enough on the skin. Worth a try.
Every winter my skins gets horribly dry, and every year I had to deal with it by using tons of lotion multiple times a day. I'm not sure why I had never tried the Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash, I guess the price combined with the bottle size kind of scared me a way. I was totally wrong to think that this was too expensive. All you need is a quarter size squirt on your hand or on a scrubber and it will cover your whole body! I love that it doesn't have a strong smell and you feel the relief right away. It's amazing and it will last you all winter long and some more! I was totally hooked on Aveeno products after that.
I was very happily surprise with this body wash. It says on the Aveeno web site that it truly moisturizes as it cleans and it does just that. I have had the dry spot on my elbow for the longest time and I’ve tried every thing to make it go away and nothing I have used has helped it until now. After using the Aveeno skin relief body wash just once I started to notice the dry spot was much softer. By the end of one week it was completely gone! I was in shock and have been telling everyone I know about the Aveeno skin relief body wash ever since. The rest of my skin has never felt so soft and smooth and it really does last all day long. It nice and creamy and lathers up great. They say it’s even gentle enough for sensitive skin and if it can get rid of that dry spot on my elbow like it has and not bother my skin, I can believe that. It also has a nice light fragrance, so it’s not over powering like some body washes can be, it soap free, dye free and is hypoallergenic, so if you have a problem with dry skin, try Aveeno skin relief body wash, you’ll be happy you did, I know I am.
I tried the Fig and Shea Butter body wash by Avenno.
I found the smell a little on the strong side but it is still nice. It is what I would descrive as a flowery scent. They do have more scents and types available though in this range of body washes.
What I liked best about this body wash is that it left my skin feeling quite soft and smooth after I had showered. It is not drying on the skin. Left my skin smelling quite nice.
The price is pretty good, I believe I bought it for $7 which isn't too bad for almost half a litre which will last a couple of months atleast.
