We love Aveeno for our baby and this balm is perfect. It leaves her skin soft and hydrated. I love that it’s made special for little one with no harsh smells or chemicals

Gentle for newborn skin

This newborn Aveeno Balm is a great option for parents. I wish I had this when my kids were newborn. I was told by my midwife not to use any lotions/creams for the first little bit but I feel like this would have helped lock in their natural moisture.

I used this on my 1 year old and it is great. It’s super thick and almost gel-like. It rubs into my baby’s skin quite nicely.

The only thing that I don’t love about it is the smell. I believe it’s supposed to be unscented, but there’s still a slight smell to it.

I would definitely recommend this to any parents who are looking for something gentle for their newborn.

Gentle moisturizing balm for baby's skin

This is a must-have skin-friendly balm for the newborn's. I found this balm to be beneficial for the little one's skin. I love the velvety smooth texture when applying. After every application, their skin felt so soft. It provides long-lasting hydration, spreads easily on the skin and it is non-greasy. It did not cause redness or any kind of reaction and found it to be gentle on the skin because of the ingredients used. It provides great moisturization on their delicate skin. I did not have to re-apply which was good. I definitely recommend this light, effective and fragrance-free balm as it creates the absolute best nourishment on the newborn skin.

Great for dry spots

As per the name of the product, it is a balm so it’s expected to be thicker than a lotion. I found this to be slightly thicker and greasier than lotion but still easy to smooth over skin. However I prefer to only use it on areas that need extra moisture because it is slightly thicker - it’s very effective for dry spots. Although my child’s skin and mine feels nourished with the balm, my palms don’t like that slightly thicker/greasier texture as much since the aging skin on my palms don’t absorb products as well. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Aveeno Baby Daily Healthy Start Newborn Balm is ment for sensitive skin. The formula has no perfume fragrance and only gives off the natural smell of the ingredients!

Nourished looking skin for my LO

Ashy skin? Not a chance when I have Aveeno Baby Daily Healthy Start Newborn Balm on hand! This balm has a thick texture which spreads so smoothly and easily on the skin without feeling greasy. Love that it is not scented too. After use, it leaves my LO's skin feeling nourished, soft and hydrated. Suitable to use for the diaper area too.

Best for baby's skin in the winter

I am happy to receive this item for free through Butterly because I love Aveeno baby products and have used it for my first baby. The healthy start newborn balm has a thick consistency and no scent so it is perfect for babies specially newborns. Living in Canada, winters are really cold and dry to the skin. I have used this product for about a week now and my baby's skin stays nice and soft. I also use this for myself and my 4 year-old as it really keeps the moisture on the skin.

It is hypoallergenic, hlps to soothe and hydrate dry skin, and fragrance-free. We applied it at night before bed, to our baby's face (chins) and the next morning we see that his faced has healed from dryness.
