Didnt see any changes

After using Aveeno Calm and Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel for 4 weeks, I was not able to see any improvement for fine lines or wrinkles. I did not a slight tingly feeling when applying for the first few times which made me wonder if that was normal or not. Overall I was underwhelmed by the product

Allergic reaction

I was excited to try this product and right off the bat loved the packaging, the glass container was a nice touch. Unfortunately when I applied the product it stung and my face turned really red in the areas I'd applied it so I won't be using it again :(

Moisturizing, but ineffective

I had the opportunity to try Aveeno Calm & Restore Age Renewal Serum & Eye Gel for sensitive skin. Both products are fragrance free with cranberry extract, a plant based retinol alternative. The serum claims it hydrates and visibly improves the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The Eye gel claims it visibly improves the look of wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles.

I tried both products as directed for 4 weeks. Both products felt great on the skin. I don’t have sensitive skin, but they both felt very gentle & hydrating. As advertised there wasn’t much of a smell either. Unfortunately, other than that, I didn’t experience any of the results the products claimed to offer. My dark circles didn’t lighten up & there was no change to my wrinkles or overall skin tone or brightness. As a serum & eye gel, it was nice to use, but I can’t recommend it for dark circles & wrinkles as it seemed ineffective for me.

Disappointed

I had the opportunity to try the product for free and give my honest review in return. I tried the product few times but it burned every single time so then I stopped using it. This eye gel might be a good product if it suits you but for me as soon as I applied it started burning so I had to wash it off. I do like the fact that it is fragrance free and was hoping to like it but unfortunately it did not work for me.

Drying products

I didn't like these products because they dried my skin, it was literally peeling. Maybe it can be used as exfoliation once in a while but certainly not daily.

Didn't love this

This cream did not work for me. I found that I often had a burning sensation when applying, even when I only applied a small amount. The gel felt sticky on the skin and I would often wake up with that same stickiness that would pill under my eyes. I did not notice a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and the cream would often cause puffiness and redness. The only positive is that I don't think much is needed for application, so the cream would last a long time.

Was supposed to be hypo allergenic but not for me

I always trusted Aveeno for my sensitive skin, so I was thrilled when Aceeno launched a range of products to calm and soothe irritated and dry skin.

Unfortunately, this is a disappointing purchase. It’s not moisturizing for me at all. My skin was sticky and irritated after using it. I was really disappointed. Plus, my skin was red after using it and I had to put some ice on it to calm the irritation.

I've tried retinol products from another brnd in the past and had no problem.

I usually use Aveeno products and I am usually satisfied. Maybe it is just a coincidence or maybe there was something wrong with my product, but that won't stop me from using othr Aveeno products.

Stings around eyes.

Unfortunately this product made my eyes sting everytime I used it. I used it day and night. I tried by itself, with different creams. Under moisturizer, above moisturizer but thr tinglyness never went away. It has good ingredients but not sure if I would repurchase.

Eye gel

Sample size was convenient and easy to access, very nice presentation, feeling soothing when applied, did not notice much of a difference after application but did see a slight difference about 15 minute later
Not sure if real any value for money

Not happy

I received this product at no charge. I have been using it every night and it is not taking the black bags and puffiness away fro below my eyes. I have also noticed that I have a small white dot under each of my eyes that I never had before.
