Gentle on the eyes

I recently had the chance to try for free the Aveeno® Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel through Butterly. I'd say it's a good moisturizer that's pretty gentle on the delicate skin around the eyes. I really like the gel texture, which makes it feel refreshing, and can give your eyes a boost in the morning. As someone who is sensitive to fragrances (hello allergies!), I'm also a big fan of unscented products, so the fact that it is fragrance-free is greatly appreciated. However, after using it most nights for about a month, I must say I didn't see much change on my fine lines and wrinkles like the product promises. I would probably use it again as a moisturizer, in combination with another anti-aging eye cream. It's not a bad product in any way, but I don't think it can really compete with other products that contain retinol and such.

Amazing

I loved this! It keeps my skin so smooth and feels light! I highly recommend it to anyone with dry skin and it feels light on the skin and not messy!!

Nice eye cream

This is a nice, lightweight eye cream. Feels very hydrating and absorbs quickly. The only issue I had was that it was a bit stingy right near my eyes and that was unfortunately unavoidable

Eye gel working

I received this product as a test. I applied this gel every morning. When I first apply it my skin goes red. After a while my skin does go back to normal. I have noticed that my little wrinkles have disappeared. My darkness under my eyes have gone a little bit. As soon as I put my makeup on you don’t see my dark spots. I will continue using this eye cream.

Calm and gentle

I received this when I was having an eczema flare up and my eyes were raw and irritated. This eye cream is so soft and gentle and my eczema cleared up within a week of using it.

Not a great visible difference, but my skin feels so much better after using this

Good aveeno calm+restore eye gel!

This aveeno calm+ restore age renewal eye gel is a good product for wrinkles and dullness for sensitive skin. It did not cause any dryness or itching after a use for few times. I think I need to use it for few more days to observe good results but otherwise good product at a good price point.

Good Moisturizer

I found this Eye Gel to be very gentle on my sensitive skin, had a very mild and natural scent. I found it to make my skin soft and supple, but did not notice a reduction in wrinkles or fine lines.

Great product with quick results!

This Aveeno age renewal eye gel has been wonderful so far! It goes on nice and has a cooling effect as it absorbs into the skin. I have had some issues with puffy eyes and dark circles as I'm pregnant and have a toddler so don't sleep much, and I must say the results have been quick. My eyes are no longer super puffy underneath and the product has been gentle enough on my skin to use everyday!
Thank you butterfly for the free product. This has become a staple in my skin care regimen!

Surprisingly great eye gel/cream

I received this @aveenoca eye gel cream free from @thisisbutterly for an honest review!
I have mature, combination skin and I have sensitive eyes. I can be reactive to some ingredients in eye skincare products, especially with actives in them. Having said that, one of my favorite products to try is eye skincare. I do have fine lines around the corners of my eyes and some underneath with subtle puffiness. Because of this, I have tried a LOT of eye products that say they will reduce lines, puffiness…truly magical claims but most underachieve. With that said, I know a superior product when I try it. I love that it is fragrance free because who needs that around your eyes? Not me for sure.
This is a hydrating gel/cream (more gel than cream), and I had no issues with it under concealer or other makeup products and it just performed so well. The skin around my eyes looked smoother, felt hydrated, and it diminished the look of my fine lines. You need so little of this product to get impressive results. I LOVED how this made my eyes look.
Now for the only con I could see and that is the packaging. I do prefer eye products to come in a squeeze tube more than a glass pot, such as what this came in. I do not love dipping my hands into products, but you can certainly use a small spatula to take out what you need. I would love to see this come in tube packaging in future.
I really enjoyed using this eye cream and if your skin concerns are like mine, try it and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
