Gentle and soothing eye gel

Thank you @thisisbutterly and @aveenoca for the opportunity to test and review Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel for Sensitive Skin. This eye gel is fragrance-free and contains cranberry extract, a plant-based retinol alternative. It also contains niacinamide (vitamin b3) and avena sativa (oat) kernel flour. I dabbed and patted the gel onto the entire eye area, in the am and pm. I felt a slight warmth, followed by hydration and not dryness, like with so many other eye products. This eye gel is alcohol-free, so I found it soothing. I’m impressed at how gentle this product is, especially for the most delicate part of the face. After continued use, my eye area appeared smoother and brighter. Another go-to product from my trusted ally in skincare, Aveeno.

Aveeno® Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel

I received this product free of charge to trial for a period of 4 weeks. I stopped using my. Usual eye cream for this period of time.
The gel contains cranberry extract, but is fragrance free. Applied under and around the eye area morning and night; a minimal amount is required, it is light, not greasy and absorbed well. There was no skin irritation. I did not see any visible difference after four weeks of use; however it did hydrate nicely; and was still able to apply eye make up that stayed in place.i would not compare

I use this fragrance-free anti-aging eye cream every morning during my skincare routine. I like the gel-like texture. I use a pea-size around each eye. It absorbs quite nicely without any greasy or sticky feeling. It’s very gentle and safe for sensitive skin. My skin feels moisturized all day long. I will continue to use to see the long-term results.

Made eyes watery and stingy

I don't usually have sensitive skin, however around my eyes can sometimes be sensitive. I was looking forward to trying this product, only for my eyes to water and become very stingy upon application. I felt the product was working well and did produce results, it was just annoying how watery my eyes were after applying it. I will be giving it a few more tries and try overnight as well, but the initial reaction to my eyes was a bit concerning. I did see results after only one application though, with it slightly reducing my eye bags and brightening and tightening the area around my eyes, but again, not sure if the stinging around my eyes and the watering eyes is worth it yet or not.

"Eye" like it ALOT!

So I have a love-hate relationship with eye creams. Either I put them on and they make my eyes stream meaning I dont get past a few days using them or I use them up and find they did nothing. So for this Aveeno eye cream does not fall into either category so it's a win!

I am definitely finding it reduces puffiness in the morning because I can sleep for 12 hours and my eyes are still gonna be puffy when I wake up!

In terms of dark circles - I am seeing a difference in them so I only hope that continuing to use it over the next few months will see them diminish even further.

I have also found this eye cream has sneaked its way over to my husband's side of the vanity on numerous occasions! He has eye wrinkles and he likes using this as he says it makes his eyes feel more awake, less dry and way more hydrated.

I especially like using this with my Aveeno serum - something about finding two items in the same range that I really enjoy just makes my OCD brain happy!

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more facial skincare from this particular line!

Aveeno calm+Restore eyegel is soothing!

Aveeno calm + restore age renewal eye gel is an effective and gentle eye gel to calm your eyes and visibly improve the look of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.
This fragrance-free eye gel is very soothing and gets absorbed into the skin pretty quickly with a cool effect. It takes away the tiredness of your eyes and relax them.
This gel contains a plant-based retinol which keeps the moisture barrier intact with collagen support making your eyes radiant and stress free.
Very effective eye soothing gel.

Not my top choice

I received this gel for free in exchange for my honest review. I have the very dark circles and under-eye bags and I hoped to see the retinol-like results because I used the retinol products before and I like the ingredient. The gel texture is good for me, it absorbs well and it's easy to apply. However, I can't say I saw the significant changes in puffiness. Also I felt a burning sensation when applied on the top eyelids. So after a couple times I decided to continue applying only under eyes and it worked well. I like the hydration the gel gives but unfortunately this is not my top choice.

Feels soothing with a subtle difference

I've purchased Aveeno products before, so I was excited to try this. I was hoping it would help with my dark circles. I noticed only a subtle difference after using this eye gel for a few weeks. The plus side is that it reduce some puffiness over time. It’s very lightweight but still feels hydrating. Not sure if I'd purchase again, considering the price point.

Smooth and silky

Love the texture of the product. It was nice and very cool to touch. I liked that it didn’t have a scent to the product. It really helped my eyes looks refreshed in the mornings. Lots of product and didn’t take a lot to get results

Thick & Smooth, Wonderful Eye Cream

Texture of this eye cream is amazing. It is smoothing and very moisturizing.
I really really enjoyed this cream and will be adding it to my regular routine.
There is no scent to the cream which is also nice so it does not irritate my eyes.
