Didn’t believe it till I tried it myself!

I only developed lots of puffiness and bad Dark circles about a year and an half ago as a result of very aggressive cancer treatment I received. That really ended up making my skin look bad - specially around my eyes and I looked like I had aged terribly. So when I got a chance to try the Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel from Butterly and Aveeno, I was naturally very happy. At the same time I was apprehensive because I have seen so many people say that no amount of gels and creams have helped them with the puffiness and dark circles in the eye area. I typically don’t wear eye make everyday for the last 2 years or so so you can really see my dark circles very prominently. As I started testing the gel, I had lots of reservations about its effectiveness and ability to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles along with it being able to even put my skin tone. I have been using it consistently at night for the last 4 weeks and am happy to say that I really have seen the results for myself. It’s helped me reduce puffiness, doesn’t burn my eyes or the skin around when I apply it, gets absorbed very easily and doesn’t leave the eye area feeling sticky or heavy and extra creamy or uncomfortable & it genuinely has visibly reduced my dark circles as well. So I can say now that I’m a believer!

Smooths the skin

This serum instantly left my skin feel soothed & hydrated. I liked that it was lightweight, absorbed quickly and was easy to apply. It applies on the skin smoothly and does not leave a greasy feel. There is no fragrance and it is gentle enough for sensitive skin and daily use. I used it day and night for 4 weeks with the eye gel. It really helped at softening and reducing the look of fine lines around the eyes and I didn’t experience any puffiness while using it. I also didn't have any dark circles. It goes on before you moisturize your skin so it depends on your moisturizer as well that you use on top probably. I only gave it 4 stars as I didn't notice a change with wrinkles but it may need more time. I like that it didn't dry out the skin. My skin looked smoother as well. I really like the formula as well.

Nice Face Cream

I tried it for 4 weeks and while I haven't seen results, I can say that it absorbs well into the skin and makes my skin feel soft. No irritation or scent.

Great texture

Love the feeling of this cool gel moisturizer after a hot shower. It instantly tingles which causes my face to get red but I feel the tingles is what tells me it’s working.

Pas très efficace

J’ai reçu Aveeno® Calm + Restore Sérum Régénérant Antiâge pour essai gratuit pendant 4 semaines. J’ai suivi le mode d’emploi mais les rides n’ont pas diminués. La peau a quand même changé, est nourrie et lisse. Je vais continuer d’utiliser le sérum en espérant que l’effet sera visible

I’m only in my mid 20’s, but I’ve come to realize the importance of good skincare. This serum has been a great addition to my routine. Makeup lays over it fine. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tacky or greasy and it has no scent. It makes my skin look brighter, smooth and hydrated. I love when one or two products can do the work of several! Even though I don’t have many wrinkles now, I feel like this is a great place to start. It’s a much gentler more natural retinol that has shown good results. I do feel like I have other serums that work just as good or better around the same price point.

Perfect for Canada winter

I have sensitive/sensitized skin due to damaged skin barrier. I wanted to try this product but hesitant due to the price so I was really happy to be sent a sample. In the winter my skin can get really dry but still oily. The consistency of this product is a bit thick so I use this at night and it works perfect. It did not break out my skin and it really does work like retinol. I stopped all other active ingredients that I am using to really see the effect within 2 weeks. thoughhh it did clog my skin a bit that's why I cant use it during daytime wih sunscreen when my skin gets super oily even in the winter.

Smooth and calming

I was very pleasantly surprised that this unscented serum really was unscented. Often the unscented products I try have this strange oaty like smell, which this did not, it truly was unscented. The cooling feeling is nice and fresh and the serum leaves my skin feeling really silky. My only complaint is that is doesn't mix well with makeup, in the morning I apply lotion or serum first followed by my usual makeup and I found it left my makeup looking blotchy, so I prefer to use this serum at night on a clean face. But otherwise, this is a serum I would use/but.

GENTLE RENEWAL

Amazing gentle product! This product is super great! It is formulated with gentle natural ingredients such as the encapsulated cranberry extract to help smooth lines and wrinkles and brighten the skin. Also with niacinamide which has helped my pores and evens skin tone. Within a week my acne scars and dull skin had been revived. It feels so smooth and rich as well as smells great Would definitely recommend and repurchase!

Great, naturally derived product

I enjoyed this product, and the packaging it came in! The pump was very handy and I liked the glass bottle because sustainably matters! I noticed more even texture in my skin after using this got four weeks.
