Good for sensitive skin

Aveeno® Calm + Restore Age Renewal Serum

Thank you to @aveenoca and @thisisbutterly for giving me this product for free so that I could supply my honest feedback after trying this product.
I tried this product for approximately four weeks writing this review.

This serum was very lightweight and fragrance free which I think makes it a great choice for anyone with sensitive skin or scent sensitivities. I did find its natural scent a bit like chicken though 😂

This serum contains cranberry extract, which apparently is a plant based alternative to retinol, which is pretty cool. However, I didn’t notice a visible reduction in wrinkles or fine lines. Of course, being an Aveeno product, it is packed with colloidal oatmeal. I did notice that my skin felt nice, smooth, comfortable and moisturized. There is absolutely zero discomfort, tingling, or redness using it.

It’s a nice product that I would use again for sure and I plan to finish using the bottle, but I’m not 100% sure I would buy it again over other products. However, it is a great choice for anyone with sensitive skin or scent sensitivities.

Qualité et confort

Ce sérum anti-rides, bien qu'onctueux, pénètre bien la peau et laisse une sensation de douceur. Je l'utilise matin et soir et je dois admettre qu'elle me laisse pas de résidus sur la surface de la peau, ce qui est très bien au coucher. Aussi, comme pour le gel contour des yeux, elle n'est pas irritante, ni desséchante. J'adore qu'elle soit hypoallergénique et non comédogène. De plus, elle est sans additifs néfastes pour la santé et pour la peau. Elle s'utilise bien sous la crème de jour et de nuit puisqu'elle est bien absorbée par la peau. J'aime déjà la crème pour le corps Aveeno. Alors si ce sérum anti-rides est vraiment efficace et durable pour les rides et ridules, je vais l'adopter. Résultats avant-après à venir sur Instagram. Gentle and effective

This product definitely did what it says it will accomplish. My dullness and fine lines are visibly reduced and I’m feeling more confident not wearing make up on a day to day basis. I love that it is fragrance free and leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Smooth

I tried this serum for the recommended 4 weeks and I will say, I did see a difference. I’ve tried other serum samples and haven’t noticed a whole lot. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure what it was for. Since I started using the Aveeno age renewal one, my face has been softer and I’ve noticed I have less fine lines. I did pair it with your basic cetaphil moisturizer as I don’t have the aveeno one, but it still feels great. I was confused at first with the consistency (every serum seems to be different), but I found it actually helped it go on easier. If you have sensitive skin like I do, definitely give this one a go. I apologize if this sounds confusing or doesn’t make sense, currently writing this while sick.

Light, Gentle and Soothing

This serum is perfect for anyone that suffers with sensitive skin or any skin condition that may prevent them from using similar products that utilize harsher ingredients. Or if you just need a quick pick-me-up without the heaviness that typically comes with other products, then this is a great alternative. It's perhaps a bit more runny than most serums so you want to be careful when you pump it out of the bottle. But once applied it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated. After a couple of weeks, I started to notice that my skin was more firm and had more resiliency to it. I've even noticed that it's calmed my skin and made it less reactive to other products that I was using that would normally cause me some irritation. As with all products, results will vary by user, so your experience may differ from mine, but definitely worth giving it a shot.

Gentle and smooth

So cool and calming on the skin, a real feeling of hydration! Although I did not notice any signs of improvement to fine lines my skin loved the feel and after effects. The age renewal eye gel also felt phenomenal on the skin and did help improve dark circles. I love the gentle feel

Super hydrating

I’m using this product for almost 4 weeks now, hoping I will get brighter skin tone and it will reduce my fine lines, but my skin tone remains the same and my forehead lines are still visible. But this serum feels super hydrating that i don’t have to use a moisturizer separately. And the serum feels so soft and light to apply. My only concern is that it did not provide retinol like results.

A serum that's as smooth as butter!

I was really impressed with the results! The first time I used it, it went on so smooth and gently that I didn't even know it was there. After a few days of using it, I noticed my skin was smoother to the touch and felt softer too! After a few weeks of using it, I noticed that some of the lines around my mouth were barely noticeable, like a blur filter has been applied to my face. I also like the glass bottle with a pump that can be locked for easy transportation. Overall, very happy with the product!

Lotion like Age Renewal Serum

I recently started incorporating the Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Serum into my daily face care routine to improve the look and feel of my skin.

The serum comes in a mini pump dispenser which makes it very convenient and easy to apply. One - Two pumps is all you need!

The serum resembles a watery lotion. It is not sticky or greasy but quite light and gentle thanks to the colloidal oatmeal and plant-based retinol alternative. It goes on easily and gets absorbed into the skin quite quickly. The skin is left feeling hydrated and smooth. It did not cause any redness or irritation whatsoever.
It is also frangrant free so you don't have to worry about any irritating smells.

After using the serum for more than a week, I have noticed improvement in the appearance of the skin. It looks more strengthened, smooth and hydrated. My skin tone and texture has improved as well thanks to the antioxidant rich petides, cranberry extract and vitamin b3.

For a softer skin feeling fresh

I would definitely recommend this product for a younger smooth feeling skin around the facial area. The texture of the product was so smooth and creamy and soft. As I rubbed the product on my face while massaging gently into my skin, I felt my skin so soft and smooth. I noticed that my face was looking younger and fresh. I would recommend this product if anyone is looking for a fresh looking skin on their facial areas.
