Great Gentle, Soothing Serum

The Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Serum is a lovely, lightweight creamy serum that glides over skin easily and absorbs well into skin. A little goes a long way, so there's no need for excessive pumping to get even coverage and application. It also layers well under other skincare (moisturizer and SPF) without pilling or causing awkward reactions.

I have patches on my neck in particular that get irritated and sensitized periodically, and I used this to help recover and restore my skin barrier. At first, even this did sting a little bit on those areas, but after a day or two, the areas healed enough and this finished the job of getting my skin back to standard, non-sensitized state. I used it morning and night and found that it did a lovely job of plumping the skin and soothing and hydrating it.

I would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin or who needs a gentle and soothing alternative to the other serums on the market. To be clear, the only reason I might not pick this up again in future is because I don't know that I always need it in my routine (versus the eye cream that has a consistent place). But going forward, I would say this is one of the rotating options I would pick up again (I do switch my serums periodically so there's a handful I rotate).

Lightweight Facial Serum

I am not a fan of the serum, however I did like that it applied smoothly had a pleasant scent. It did seem to leave a little residue on my skin which left a scum feeling and made it difficult to apply makeup.

Love this Serum

I’ve been using Aveeno Calm and restore age renewal serum for a month now and I am amazed. My skin feels more supple and looks renewed and fresh. I really enjoyed trying this product.

Works like a magic

I applied Aveeno® Calm + Restore Age Renewal Serum just before bed and noticed visible difference the next morning, my face looked a bit plumped in a nicer way. I am looking forward to keep using it and will get it for my mum too.

Great face cream

Really enjoyed applying this face cream. It kept my skin hydrated, firm and moisturized. Both face cream and eye cream were great to use together. The formula was gentle for my combination skin.

Not what I was expecting

I wad given this product, along with the eye cream, to try and review. I used this product for 4 weeks and found while it made my skin look like it has more elasticity it did leave my face with some lingering redness for a while afterwards. It is quite watery so you don't need much per use, meaning that the product lasts for a while.

Smooth, hydrated skin

My skin loves this lightweight serum. It leaves it smooth and hydrated without irritating my skin like other retinol products and works well with my moisturizer where I can layer on top of it. It does seem like my fine lines aren't quite so deep. I also really appreciate that it is fragrance-free.

Lovely texture, so light!

My skin breaks out often, and that is what makes me wary of trying new serums. This one has been a pleasant surprise. My skin feels smoother after using it the past four weeks. I also like that it's super light, and about three pumps release the perfect amount for my face. I use this directly after cleaning and toning, and my skin absorbs the product near instantly. There's no strong smells, and the product isn't sticky. I appreciate this in serums, because the ones I've tried so far are either very strong smell-wise, or they sit heavy on the skin for a while. I also don't feel the need to follow it up with heavy moisturisers often.

Absorbs well and leaves skin soft

I really like this serum. Absorbs well. Leaves my skin soft. Piles a little bit of lotion applied too quickly. I didn’t notice any age reversal signs though
