Gentle on the skin

I recently had the chance to try the Aveeno® Calm + Restore Age Renewal Serum through Butterly. Like it promises, this serum is hydrating and gentle on sensitive skin. The gel-like texture makes it easy to apply, and it absorbs quickly into the skin, but I found that it left a bit of a sticky feeling to the touch, which I'm not a big fan of. I wouldn't say it's a bad product, but after using it for about a month, I didn't really notice any anti-aging benefits to it, like the packaging claims. My fine lines and wrinkles and overall skin seem to have stayed the same, so don't expect spectacular results with this serum. It is nice, but not miraculous. And I wouldn't switch my usual retinol night cream for this product.

Amazing product has keep my under eyes smooth and clearer and I highly recommend it to anyone with patchy and dry jnderyes ! I recommend it highly to everyone

Nice serum

This is a nice serum. Very light and hydrating. Unfortunately, I found that it did not make a difference in my skin in using it over 3+ weeks. It does wear very nicely under makeup though

Good Serum

I received this as a promotion. I applied this serum right after I put on my toner. I applied this to my cheeks first then the rest all over my face. I did notice that as soon as I applied it my cheeks did turn a bit red but it disappeared in a while. I did notice my face did balance out. My fresh wrinkles are disappearing! As soon as I put my makeup on my face looked fresh.

Light Formula!

Aveeno has really made a product that will be helping me start my anti-aging journey. This formula is pristine and it really shows results. I am a big fan of this formula.

This aveeno age renewal serum has been wonderful on my sensitive skin! I love the fact it uses Cranberry extract as a retinol alternative as I find it makes it way gentler on the skin. It absorbs nicely into the skin and I have noticed my face has been extremely soft and it has drastically reduced some fine lines I had going on since using
it. I have made this a part of my everyday routine and I'm so happy to have found something that doesn't flare up my sensitive skin. Thank you butterly for the free product!

Excellent lightweight serum

I received this @aveenoca serum free from @thisisbutterly for an honest review!
I have combination skin that can be reactive to some products that contain actives, but I was excited to try Aveeno’s take on them. I enjoyed this serum a lot and I especially love that it is fragrance free as this can be a sensitivity trigger for me, especially with my more mature skin. First, I want to talk about the packaging because no matter how many times people say it does not matter, IT DOES MATTER! This serum comes in a cute stubby, glass bottle with a pump (prefer this to a dropper style) which means it is hygienic and so I did not have to guess as to the proper amount to use. I used only 1-2 pumps for my whole face and neck. It was lightweight and left my skin hydrated but not greasy feeling. Because it was so hydrating, I could see my fine lines were more plumped and became less prominent over the time I used it. It brightened some red patches I get on my cheeks and left my skin brighter than before. It just felt nice on the skin, and my skin looked glowier after using it. It performed so well on its own, but it also played nicely with other skincare or makeup products, even SPF. Highly recommend and will repurchase!

Okay option

The serum is unscented which is nice, and has a light texture. The main active ingredient is Niacinamide which is known to be effective for reducing irritation, but it is unclear what the concentration is. Unfortunately it takes ages to dry, so putting this under night time or daytime moisturizer as per instructions on the packaging doesn't work well, as it all becomes a sloppy mess.
