Okay option

The serum is unscented which is nice, and has a light texture. The main active ingredient is Niacinamide which is known to be effective for reducing irritation, but it is unclear what the concentration is. Unfortunately it takes ages to dry, so putting this under night time or daytime moisturizer as per instructions on the packaging doesn't work well, as it all becomes a sloppy mess.

Soothing Serum

I have been breaking out since I started using the product so I don't think it's for me. However, it feels nice and calming when it is applied to the face and neck. I think it made the lines on my forehead less noticeable.

Easy to apply but not sure it works

I used this product for 4 weeks. The bottle it came in was easy to squirt and apply. I didn't notice any difference in my skin yet. It feels refreshing to use though.

Recommended to be used with moisturizer

Though it looks similar to the eye gel, I found it causing a bit of sensitivity on my forehead area. Especially if you do not immediately apply a hydrating lotion on top it felt quite uncomfortable for me. The effect on fine lines etc.was satisfactory and visible after around 10 days of usage. It has a little bit of lightening effect too because of the Niacinamide in it , but on the flip side probably it was also the reason of the sensitivity that I felt. So if your skin is too sensitive, make sure yo use a good hydrating lotion immediately after the serum. Overall score 3/5.
Final conclusion- I liked the eye gel is better than the serum.

Didn't notice any difference

After using this product for several weeks I have yet to notice any difference if any at all. My face feels very dry and it is more red then usual. I use several other aveeno products that I love but not this one.

Not much effective on 35+, though left nice touch

I have oily skin in my 35+. Slight wrinkles on my forehead, and overall lack of elasticity and firmness.
I used the serum before bedtime. I didn't see any effect on my wrinkles or skin condition, skin tone is still the same uneven as it was before.I use a moisturizer after the serum, so I get moisture from the cream, not the serum, so not sure if the serum has a moisturizing effect.
Though the feeling after applying it is good,not sticky, no thick layers. A nice pump. Just nice,but nothing extraordinary.

Aveeno calm and restore serum

It felt nice on the skin but not too special. I used it for over a week and did not see any difference to my skin. I also went to my usual store to see if I can find the product and did not see it anywhere.

Moisturizing, but ineffective

I had the opportunity to try Aveeno Calm & Restore Age Renewal Serum & Eye Gel for sensitive skin. Both products are fragrance free with cranberry extract, a plant based retinol alternative. The serum claims it hydrates and visibly improves the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The Eye gel claims it visibly improves the look of wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles.

I tried both products as directed for 4 weeks. Both products felt great on the skin. I don’t have sensitive skin, but they both felt very gentle & hydrating. As advertised there wasn’t much of a smell either. Unfortunately, other than that, I didn’t experience any of the results the products claimed to offer. My dark circles didn’t lighten up & there was no change to my wrinkles or overall skin tone or brightness. As a serum & eye gel, it was nice to use, but I can’t recommend it for dark circles & wrinkles as it seemed ineffective for me.

Very light and hydrating

This serum was really lightweight. It wasn’t greasy or heavy and it absorbed into my skin very well. It is slightly scented which might cause some people irritation

Product smells

I am not sure if I received an old product but it smells terrible. I keep using it because I want to see if it actually does work and reduce fine lines, but the product has such a terrible smell to it.
