Smoothing and texture improving

When I received the Aveeno Calm and Restore Age Renewal serum free to try, I was excited. I trust Aveeno for my sensitive skin, but often sensitive doesn’t offer a great range in the anti aging category. The serum applied smoothly, wasn’t tacky as it dried, and worked well with my subsequent moisturizer. I am nervous of retinol because of my reactive skin, and liked that I got the results of a retinol, without the sensitivity of a retinol. Over time, my fine lines seemed slightly smoother, my blotchy skin more uniform, and my skin looks radiant and plumped!

Lightweight and Moisturizing

This is a lightweight serum feels really nice on the skin. It absorbs quickly and left my skin feeling moisturized. Now did I see major anti aging results compared to my high end serums no but I feel like this would be a good serum for someone with sensitive skin or a skincare newbie who is looking for some added hydration.

I have to admit that after using this serum, I am really impressed. My skin is quite sensitive, however the product caused no irritation or redness. It is formulated with cranberry extract, a mild plant-based retinol replacement. It is extremely gentle on the skin and works so well that it can be used on a daily basis. I can clearly see that it has helped the fine lines on my forehead. My skin feels healthy and youthful. I adore that there is no scent in this serum. Additionally, it feels quite light on the skin. It's an absolute must-have, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great anti aging serum

I love the nourishing formula of the serum that contains Cranberry Extract, Niacinamide and Colloidal Oatmeal, that together visibly improve the look of my fine lines & wrinkles while helping to strengthen my skin’s moisture barrier. It has a lightweight texture and absorbs easily, while making my skin feel soothed and hydrated. It has been very gentle on my skin, and is also easy to layer making it wear well under makeup.

A new favorite

I was very excited to try this serum when I saw that it was made with cranberry extract. I was kind of expecting a hint of a cranberry scent, but I can detect no scent whatsoever. I used this serum every morning and every evening for about 4 weeks, together with Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel, and my usual moisturizer. This serum is thicker than serums I am used to, but I much prefer them this way. It seems so nourishing, almost like you don’t have to use a moisturizer afterward. (But I still did.) I found this serum to be very gentle. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. I am finding that overall I am more happy with how my skin looks after using the serum for 4 weeks. I will continue using it, and will be purchasing it again in the future.

Gentle and nourishing on my skin

Unlike the Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel, I find that this serum is very gentle and nourishing on my skin . The best part is that it has helped in making my skin more smoother. Its definitely very lightweight and absorbs nicely on my skin. . Also love that its non scented. Its a great addition for my skincare routine.

Brightened complexion but didn’t target fine lines

I tried the Aveeno Age Renewal Serum for a few weeks.

Aveeno always has nice packaging. It’s clean, simple, and has a pop of colour. I love that their packaging colour resembles the colour of oats, since it’s the main ingredient in their products.

As for the ingredients, I always like to check them through an online database. The serum contains great ingredients and nothing that’s irritating or drying. Its fragrance free and great for sensitive skin. Aveeno uses oats which provides a nice, calming effect.

Let’s chat about the serum. Unfortunately, I didn’t have such drastic results. I have some forehand lines that I think are here to stay. I noticed a very slight difference within 4 weeks of use, but they’re still there and pretty noticeable too. I found the eye cream had better results. The serum, however, still improved my skin in other positive ways. It helped to reduce some redness and I noticed it brightened my overall complexion too.
I’d give it a 3.5 or a 4/5 simply because I didn’t really notice a reduction in fine lines, but it still produced other positive results.

Overall, I think Aveeno has incredible products. Although, I didn’t notice much with the serum when it came to fine lines, I still noticed other positive results. I’d buy it again and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to improve their skincare regimen.
