This serum did not work for me

I love that this serum had multiple purpose and it went on my skin very well and absorbed without feeling sticky and definitely like that it had no fragrance however it did nothing for my skin and it break my skin
out . And my pores were looking a bit larger.

I am a fan of Aveeno’s products.
They are made mostly with natural ingredients, they are effective and they respect my sensitive skin.
Somehow this Aveeno Calm+Restore products gave me redness and a burning sensation so I stopped using them right away.

I had no time to experience improvement of my dark circles, fine lines or wrinkles. I don’t know how this formula containing Cranberry Extract, a plant-based retinol alternative and antioxidant-rich peptides works but it is not for me.

Lovely packaging, but the serum wasn't for me.

For my next Aveeno adventure, I had the pleasure of testing out their calm & restore age renewal serum. If you had asked me when I was younger if I had sensitive skin I would have scoffed at the mere thought of it. But now, I find the more products I put on my skin the higher the likelihood of a breakout. Serums especially are a hit-or-miss for me and unfortunately, this was one was a miss.

I tend to stay away from products with retinol, as I find they emphasize my already naturally reddened facial features. Despite this serum made with a cranberry extract (which is a plant-based retinol alternative), the unfavourable result was the same: it left a tingling-near-burning sensation on my skin. I decided to give it a couple of more chances (maybe my skin was just extra sensitive one night?), but after it persisted, I washed it all off.

Although this serum didn't work for me, I did appreciate the clean packaging and the appearance and weight of the frosted glass bottle.

A huge help for dehydrated skin

I received this to sample and this will be one of my regular skin care items. At the time I was dealing with dry, facial skin and after a few uses it perked my skin back up.

Saw no visible results

I love how this product goes on smooth. It does dry slightly sticky but after a couple hours I didn’t notice anymore. However. After 1.5 weeks of use, I saw no changes to my skin. I like that it didn’t clog my pores but wish I saw more results. I do have some I never skin tones between my eyebrows so Maybe on an everyday for a year basis!

Typical serum :(

I was excited to try Aveeno’s Calm & Restore anti-aging serum. I was encouraged at the product consistency, it absorbed well and was not sticky like some other serums. It was great to wear under my usual day cream as well. However, I didn’t notice any reduction of fine lines, wrinkles or dullness when using it daily over a week. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to get me excited when using it. Maybe if it’s used over a longer time, the benefits may be more visible.
