Not my favourite SPF option.

I gave this a try for a few days and really wanted to like it. I am currently treating a dermatitis on my face, so my skin easily flares up and is sensitive. I do think it possibly made my dermatitis worse, even though I avoided directly applying it to the affected areas. I also didn’t like the way this sat on top of my skin, and the amount that you would need to use to properly give sun protection leave an extreme white cast on your face.

Soft and comfortable for skin

The product is very soft and comfortable to carry whole day.It feels that nothing is on my skin but a soft soothing feeling all the time with confidence that my loving skin is under high care.

Great facial moisturizing

It does not leave the face greasy or irritated. It does a good job of moisturizing without having to use a large amount. I loved it. It is a great produc.

Not the formula for me

As a big Aveeno fan and avid user, I had high hopes for Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30, but unfortunately, it didn't work the best for my skin. Despite it being a hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic daily face moisturizer, it irritated my skin, I wanted to wash it off fairly soon after applying each time. I experienced breakouts. It is very lightweight and does blend in very nicely. While it may suit others, my personal experience leaves me seeking an alternative formula. I received this product courtesy of Butterly.

Effective and Reliant

As a long standing consumer of Aveeno products, I was pleased to try their new formula. Surprising at first due to the tint of the lotion but ultimately it absorbs quickly and does not leave a shiny residue. I would try this again!

Hydrating and lightweight

I am very impressed with the Aveeno Calm and Restore moisturizer. I love how lightweight and hydrating this moisturizer is. Doesn't clog pores and has made my skin feel so soft. I love that is has an SPF of 30 in it. This will definitely be my new favourite moisturizer!

Gentle on my skin!

This is a great lightweight sunscreen for daily wear! It’s fragrance free and doesn’t leave my pores clogged at all. I have applied it under my daily makeup and it did not affect the application at all. I do wish it was a higher SPF for long days in the sun, but for daily use it is great.

Very good product

This product serves 3 different purposes. It is slight tinted so it will even your skin tone , it’s is spf30 that will protect your skin from sun radiation and lastly it will give good moisture into your skins that will last long. I use it everyday and I love it . I feel like I don’t even need a make up.

Aveeno Delivers Sun Protection and Moisture!

I’ve been using Aveeno Calm and Restore daily moisturizer with SPF 30 for about a week, in place of my usual product. Overall, I can say it seems to do what it claims to do! I haven't had any breakouts, and my complexion seems even and quite well hydrated. For me, a daily SPF product is a must, and as you may have noticed, those products can be heavy, chalky and difficult to spread. This one spreads quite evenly, and as you can see in my photos, also absorbs quite evenly and doesn’t leave much residue. It DOES have a slight tint, a very light one, so I can’t guarantee this will work for every skin tone. I would like this product even better if it were completely untinted.

So what else can I say about it? It’s a little heavier than what I would normally use, but at the same time, surprisingly light and easy to apply for a mineral based product. It’s gentle on skin, containing oat and something called feverfew, which, when I looked it up, apparently increases our skin’s antioxidant ability. It doesn’t have any added artificial fragrance, another bonus, I only detect a slight oatmeal scent, which makes sense given the ingredients.

I feel comfortable recommending this product to anyone wanting a mineral based SPF product that also has moisturizing capabilities. One of the best things you can do for your face is keep it protected from sun damage, if you haven’t been doing so, get on it now!

Will it replace my regular product of choice? Probably not, solely for the reason that I prefer a product that has no tint. Otherwise, Aveeno has delivered a product that seems well worth the investment.

Great product

The texture is amazing and it didn't clog my pores like similar products do. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel heavy. Great under makeup or alone. Will definitely use this product again!
