it's not suited for my face

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
This is a first time for me to try out a moisturizer with SPF 30 and that is tinted so wasn't sure what to expect.

Aveeno moisturizer has no fragrance which I really like, as I don't like for my moisturizer to contain a fragrance. Now it claims to blend into all skin tones and I have to disagree on that.

This moisturizer has a thick consistency, which is not a bad thing, however applying this product took some time to blend in. A
little bit goes a long way, so if you apply too much, you will be spending a minute to two trying to blend the product in. I found that this did give me a sort of white cast (medium skin tone) if I didn't vigorously blend this into my skin.

I also don't like that this moisturizer gave off a tacky feeling to the skin, it felt as if the product was just sitting on my skin. This has a sheer finish and while I don't like how this looks on my face, simply due to the white cast, I can say that I will be using this on my legs. My legs are very pale in comparison to my face so I don't have to aggressively blend this product on my legs and there is also no white cast.

Everyday Moisturizer

Thanks to Butterly for sending me this free to review. I love this moisturizer and SPF combo product. It is perfect for the winter months when you don't need as much SPF, so this does the trick for everyday protection. This product still hydrates my skin and makes it look naturally healthy. It has a tint to it which blends nicely into my skin with no issues. I recommend this product!

Great mineral sunscreen moisturizer

This is a great mineral sunscreen and moisturizer, it's even slightly tinted so it doesn't make me look like a ghost. It has no scent, and my sensitive skin didn't react at all.
Like most mineral sunscreens, I can feel it's there after application. It left my skin protected and feeling moisturized.

Love the lightweight non-greasy feel!

It has a great non-greasy formula that keeps your skin hydrated all day. The tint is also a great touch so you don’t get that usual white cast with a mineral sunscreen.

Great Moisturizer with SPF

I really enjoy using this moisturizer and I LOVE that it has SPF 30! I admit I was nervous the first time I used it because it looks tinted, but it isn't really. The moisturizer goes on pretty smoothly and doesn't leave my skin looking greasy. My makeup goes on easily over top. All in all, a great product.

Perfect sunscreen for family

I received this samples from #butterly and I’ve been using it all.

I like this cream, for sensitive skin, dry skin... It's so gentle that my 1-year-old baby can use it. I use sunscreen all year round. This cream is very convenient. I only need to use this one product every day when I go out. It moisturizes and protects me from the sun

No strong scent

The fact that this product has no scent is one of the best things about it. I do feel in the short time I’ve been using it my skin tone is evening out. My only issue is you have to put a good dollop on and rub it in on both sides of your face at the same time or it seems to get sticky and impossible to smooth out. I will continue using it until it’s done and then decide if I should buy one since this one was provided free for giving an honest review.

Great value product, a little sticky

Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30

I was stoked to learn that I’ve been selected to try another @Aveeno product! Extra happy about this as I haven’t been using SPF lately on my face, and as most of ya know… we just should!
It definitely was very gentle, had the appearance of a slight tint to it, but that blended right into my skin.

It did feel lightweight, but I personally also found it felt a little sticky. However, not more than a typical moisturizer that has SPF! I think a part of the “sticky” sensation is due to it being a mineral SPF. Mineral based sunscreen still gives broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection but without the nasties you’d have in other sunscreen! But, it definitely feels different than sunscreens that aren’t mineral based. It doesn’t feel greasy or heavy necessarily. Just a little… there. You just notice it’s there.
It goes on nice and smooth, and is naturally moisturizing! The container is 40% post consumer recycled plastic to boot!

Sunscreen for sensitive skin

It is winter and my skin is dry. I found the aveeno mineral sunscreen to feel very dry on my skin. I need a bit more moisture at this time of year. I think in the summer when my skin is oily then it will be a great sunscreen.
