Irritating and not hydrating

I found this sunscreen to not work as a standalone moisturizer, and it irritated my eyes and the dry skin under my nose. It inflamed my sensitive skin.

A beautiful light day face moisturizer!

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It is very refined and I just knew as I was putting it on my face that it would be absorbed well and quickly. It did! My thirsty skin was happy. I also loved that it looked a light pink coming out of the tube and blended wonderfully. My skin felt hydrated all day and it was a good base under makeup too, didn't pill off. It's winter right now and I was not outside with it on during my first test day so can't comment on the spf efficiency, except that my eyes ususally water from spf products too close to them, and that didn't happen, so it's a good thing. My sensitive skin is prone to redness and irritation and it was calm all day with this Aveeno product. I could use this almost as a tinted moisturizer on casual days. I could see this replacing several items for me!

I would use this every day!

My skin has been extremely picky with which products I can use while I am pregnant. This product is one of very few I am able to use that actually makes my skin feel softer and can help minimize the redness of my skin!

I love that this product has an SPF in it and does not make your skin feel oily throughout the day. This moisturizer blends perfectly into your skin.

I have used this product both on its own and as a moisturizer before applying make up. The moisturizer blends into your skin so nicely I find you don’t need to use a primer which is a bonus when you are doing a quick makeup routine.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin and is looking for something that blends well, absorbs well and keeps your skin feeling smooth, moisturized and protected all day!

Nice packaging

Tried on my face for a week and found that it was difficult to blend into my skin. It did firm my skin but left a sticky residue. Knowing the quality of the Aveeno brand, I decided to apply it to a patch of eczema on my arm. This worked like a charm! The rash diminished and the itching subsided.

Calm with protection!

Gentle, fast absorbing, and no harsh white cast

I've tried SPF moisturizers in the past but never one that incorporated mineral sunscreen ingredients, as I've always been wary of having a white cast left behind on my face. I was really impressed with this one right off the hop. For starters, it's a tinted formula - it's very slightly peachy-pink and blended seamlessly into my skin without any noticeable patches or streaks. This also makes it great for applying before a full face of make-up, but I can just as much see myself using this on its own over the summer, with maybe a bit of concealer thrown on top. The texture is also very light and absorbed easily and quickly. One of the biggest reasons I avoid sunscreen on my face (I know, I know!) is how greasy and messy it all gets, leaving me looking like a sweaty mess in no time and often dripping into my eyes. There was absolutely none of that here. It applied exactly like a moisturizer and didn't budge throughout the day. The scent is very inoffensive - it's purely that which I normally associate with sunscreen with no noticeable added fragrances or any other notes. A huge plus is also the size of the tube, which can be brought along in your carry-ons if travelling by plane. I always look for multi-use sunscreen products that come in this sort of size to help make things easier.

Great moisturizer - SPF bonus

This aveeno moisturizer can stand on its own as a great moisturizer. The SPF is an added bonus to make this an all around great product for both busy people on the go, and even the most well versed skin care lovers. It goes on the skin nicely and melts into the skin. It left my skin feeling soft and protected. No bad smells very neutral. My only note to watch is to ensure you do not apply too much. A little goes a long way and if you put on too much it will leave a mask looking film on your skin. Over all loved it and would use for a long time.

Thanks @thisisbutterly for the chance to try this @aveenoca sunscreen in exchange for an honest review. I think the sunscreen is good on it’s own. It was pretty hydrating unlike some other sunscreens I tried. It did not cause any reaction and works great for my sensitive skin. However, this sunscreen does not really mix well with other products underneath like vitamin C, the sunscreen just peeled off in little bits which was disappointing. (And I did let the products dry between layers). It also kinda does not sit well under makeup either. But if you don’t wear makeup this works very well! It was good overall and I will be using it more in the summer.
