This gave me even tone on my skin

I used this product for a week and it provided great moisture to my skin I have acne prone skin and it did not break me out and the added spf is a bonus point

Amazing texture

I like this product because the texture is smooth. It’s not greasy. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, it’s light and airy.
I would totally recommend this and I love it’s got mineral SPF in the product

Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30.

One of my favorite skin care brands for body is Aveeno, so when I saw that there was an opportunity to test a face cream, I jumped at it.

My first impression of the Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30 was surprise in the color, it has a tint that you can see in the photos.

The texture is a little thicker than most creams; it has a silicone primer feel, the color does blend down to my tone, it takes a little extra effort to get there.
On my combination skin, as the day went on, my skin continued to feel evenly hydrated. I had no ill reactions to it.

I love that this has 30 SPF protection, usually I have to apply a SPF separately, so having it all in one is a huge positive. This will easily fit into my daily skincare routine.

Beautiful product!

I absolutely love this moisturizer with SPF. It fits into my skincare routine perfectly, as my last step after cleansing, toning and applying a serum. I love that it doesn't leave a white cast, it blends into my skin beautifully. It doesn't sting my eyes as some sunscreens can. It leaves my skin looking beautifully hydrated without being greasy.

Effective and easy to use sun protection

I had the opportunity via @Aveeno and @thisisbutterly and was excited to try the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer with UVA/UVB Protection containing 100% Mineral Actives.

I have combination skin which is sensitive and acne prone - lucky me! While I do my best to cover my skin when I’m spending time outside - I know how challenging but important it is to protect my skin from the damaging rays of the sun, especially from that sneaky exposure just from daily living and going inside to outside etc.

I do prefer mineral sunscreen products vs their chemical equivalents as I feel there is far too much exposure to chemicals throughout our lives - but I have struggled to find one that didn’t feel too heavy or leave a white cast to my skin.

Upon opening, I noticed that it was a tinted cream, and while it took some time to blend it in, it did come out colourless after full application. I have fair toned skin and the slight tint worked for me, but I can see how other darker skin tones might have some challenges.

It is unscented and claims to be good for sensitive skin but it went on slightly thicker than other sunscreens or moisturizers I have used - and I wonder if it will cause breakouts after persistent continuous use. It did absorb fairly well but did leave my skin feeling slightly tacky, but that might be the product trying to straddle being both a sunscreen and moisturizer.

It did dry into a matte finish without feeling too drying on the skin and while I think this would be a more appropriate sunscreen than a daily moisturizer for my particular skin type, I can totally see this being a great choice for many people as part of their daily skincare routine.

I do appreciate what this product is trying to be (a combination of two products) and while I might use it more as a targeted sunscreen than a daily lightweight moisturizer - I do think it’s a great option for those busy days and a great addition to my occasional skincare routine with its added sun protection and ease of use.

Nice and simple face cream

This is a nice and affordable skin cream, it blends in well and doesn't upset my skin. I also really like the SPF 30 for daily use. I would recommend this product.

Suit my sensitive skin

This moisturizer suits my skin for daily use. Plus point it has SPF.
It goes well with my skin tone and my skin feels moisturized. And I dont have to apply a thick layer, little goes a long way.

A bit greasy on my skin

As someone who is fair skinned I'm always looking to try out any form of sun protection. So I was very happy to receive Aveenos Calm and Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF from Butterly for free in exchange for my honest review.

This moisturizer is hypoallergenic and gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin.
When I initially used this moisturizer i was skeptical that it was too tinted for my skin tone. I was surprised that it blended into my skin quite well and did not look streaky. Being that this is a moisturizer with SPF, it does have a bit of a sunscreen smell.

I did find it left my skin looking a little oily, but this was rectified by using a bit of setting powder on top of the moisturizer. It did not make me breakout like some other moisturizers with SPF. It left my skin feeling moisturizered and soft.

Although this moisturizer wasn't my favorite because I found it a bit heavy on my skin. I do think it is a good option for those with sensitive skin as it doesn't cause breakouts or irritations.

Feels so good on my dry winter skin!

This moisturizer feels so nice on my dry winter skin! I don't have super sensitive skin but in the winter it always feels dry, tight, and irritated and this felt like it really moisturized it well. I had to rub it in a lot to get rid of the white tint it left on my skin, but I actually found it made my skin look nicer after! Also the fact that it initially leaves a white film on the skin makes me feel like it's protecting me better from the sun. All in all I really liked this product and would get it again!

Great and Afforadable

I received the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily moisturizer for free in exchange for my honest review and I absolutely loved it! First of all, I have been looking for a Daily Moisturizer that has spa protection and also is made for a sensitive skin girly. It was perfect for my skin and didn't cause any breakouts, inflammation or irritaion. The non-oily formula was a game-changer, and it blended seamlessly with my olive skin tone, leaving a glowy effect which was nice! Plus I love that the bottle stands upside down, so no need to shake to get product out. It also has a smaller opening, which means application wasnt messy and so easy to control. However, I wish it could be a bit more moisturizing, as I often found myself applying an additional moisturizer, especially when wearing makeup. Also, the scent could be improved; all I could smell was the zinc, and a more pleasant fragrance would be appreciated. These were minor concerns compared to the overall positive experience I had using this product. I would definitely recommend it for daily use, especially for those with sensitive skin seeking a lightweight and non-greasy moisturizer. Oh and did I mention it has SPF 30- time to get your SPF on without even thinking twice in the mornings, even in those dull winter months!
