Gentle Sun Protection, But Watch for Dry Patches

The Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30 is a lightweight and non-greasy option that does a decent job at moisturizing without irritating sensitive skin. I say decent because I’m someone with dry skin and noticed it tends to cling to dry patches, impacting its appearance. I would agree that the product is fragrance-free and can appreciate that it is paraben-free and eco-friendly. I think it could be a good choice for those with normal or oily skin but maybe wouldn’t recommend it for those with dry skin.

Aveeno sunscreen

I felt like this felt heavy on the skin. I was off put by the tint. The colour fades away so it’s ok. It felt a bit waxy on my skin. I want a sunscreen that feels light and moisturizing. I like that it’s unscented and once you have it on you can layer makeup on top and it doesn’t pill.

Standard Moisturizer

I have other moisturizers, even from Aveeno, that I prefer (ex. Fresh essentials daily moisturizer w/ srf). It is an okay product, moisturizes, however it leaves a film on my skin I am not a huge fan of.

Wish it worked for my skin

Thanks to butterly and Aveeno that I got to try this daily moisturizer with spf 30. I like to use minimum products like all busy mom’s and I trust and use Aveeno brand majorly in our house specially for the kids. I was excited to be getting a chance to use this moisturizer. During winter we get lazy to use sunscreen on a daily basis however it’s important that we do.

The tube is really cute and is made with recycled plastic. The cream is tinted and gives a nice tone to the skin but it doesn’t look flaky or gives white marks like with other sunscreens. It has clean ingredients and is mineral based plus no parabens, sulfates or fragrance so it’s safe to use on my kids as well.

The only one downside of this moisturizer was that it was hard to blend and apply on my face. It didn’t hydrate and wasn’t easy to rub. I have combination skin and maybe that’s the reason. I figured if I apply a moisturizer and then apply this on top, it works well. Wish it worked without any base as it could be so much easier to have one product for those busy mornings.

The Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30 contains UVA/UVB protection as well as it blends into all skin tones. The moisturizer is lightweight and won't clog pores and it is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, and paraben free.

The Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30 comes in a tube and feels like a foundation. This is my first time using a tinted moisturizer with spf. The moisturizer blended easily into my skin and matched my skin tone. At first my face felt a little sticky but the sticky feeling slowly goes away. My skin feels nice and hydrated but after a few hours my skin started feeling a little oily and it was slightly uncomfortable maybe because I have combination skin.

Overall, I like this moisturizer and would probably purchase it again.

Such a good idea !!!

I liked this product so much ! It was perfect for my sensible skin ! Also the fact that it’s hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic makes me feel free to use it everyday ! It felt soft, non greasy at all and I didn’t have to deal with redness, or irritation after using it like other products. Love it. I also liked the little color (very subtile) that gave me a little sunshine on my skin. Talking a out sunshine, the FPS is a very good idea too ! It protect my skin perfectly !

Works Well

I got this Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer as a @freeproduct from @butterly to try out and give my honest review.
I have been using it every morning after I wash my face. You don’t need a lot to give your face a full coverage of product. Goes on quick and no greasy feeling afterwards,which I really love. Feels so light on my face ,it doesn’t even feel like I have any moisturizer on my face. It sure makes my face feel smooth and gives me all day moisture on my face,and that even has SPF30 sun protection which is an added bonus.
I’m very happy with how well this moisturizer works,it is great for sensitive skin and is hypoallergenic and works for all skin types,as it blends into your skin. I am inlove with this Aveeno product and highly recommend others to try it out as well.

Light & Effective

The ® Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer with Mineral SPF 30 is a light weight moisturizer but it is so effective in keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized. It is great for the daytime as it comes with SPF and I don’t need to apply sunscreen.

WOW!!

This is such a great mineral sunscreen. I can't believe such great quality and amazing formula. This has a slight tint to it. Usually, all mineral sunscreens are chalky and leave a white cast but boy oh boy this one is great, blends so nicely into the skin, super lightweight. This leaves such a healthy glow on the skin. I'm very impressed and have found my new go-to sunscreen. I totally love the calm and restore range. Can't wait to try more products from this range!!!

Excellent moisturizer

I love this moisturizer. It’s not too greasy and oily. It absorbs fast into the skin and the skin looks instantly hydrated and lush. It doesn’t feel heavy too.
