Lovely formula!

As someone with an Irsih/Scottish background, I am very fair and prone to sunburn and as a result, am an avid sunblock wearer. My skin is super dry too, espcially in winter. I find this Aveeno doubles as sun protection but also a nice barier in the cold winds of Toronto! It leave a slight white cast but this seems to even out my complexion, yet another unexpected bonus. Aveeno always agrees with my skin and I find their formals are never sticky. I do love this product but I am afraid for the price it is not worth the small amount in the tube. If on sale I would pick this up again in a heartbeat, however. I was given this product free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review.

Unfortunately Veru drying

I wanted to love this product , but it was instanty drying to my face. I found it sticky and not pleasant to apply. I used it for 4 days in a row and it completely dried my face out.

Best sensitive skin SPF moisturizer

This has been blurring out my skin and giving it a healthy glow. I love that it has SPF and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. The only reason I have it 4 stars was the slight white cast which it leaves on my skin even after rubbing it in really well. Overall this is a great product, there’s no scent and its doesn’t irritate the skin.

Great for every day…unless makeup is involved.

Winter demands sunscreen just like summer, often forgotten or neglected as we wait longingly for the sun to shine upon us.

Winter also demands moisture, in higher than normal quantities.

This 100% UVA/UVB mineral sunscreen is great for sensitive skin and says it blends into all skin tones.

I was sent this moisturize and SPF beauty free from Butterly to give it a try, and try I have!

Admittedly, I was a little surprised when I squeezed it out to find it a light pink/peach tone, thinking perhaps I have misread and it was also tinted. Nope that wasn’t the case at all, and then I thought well this isn’t going to go well, I’m so pale it’s gonna look weird but after applying I was pleasantly surprised that it did blend right in! I watched the peach tone turn to a whiter one and then just blend right into my skin.

So you really only need that pea sized amount to cover your face and neck, I tried less and more, and found the pea size to be the perfect amount. I like it overall, found it did moisturize well, blended into the skin well and wore well when on its own. Given that I have sensitive and allergic skin I wasn’t sure how my skin would react despite the formula being made for sensitive skin, you never know until you try it and for me, no issues which was a great relief.

On the days when I wore makeup, well I’d say my makeup didn’t like the moisturizer so much, they didn’t play nicely together. Some areas of my face were ok but in general, my foundation ended up clumping in some spots or my skin looked drier in others, and around my eyes my makeup crept into my fine lines more. Now I never run into this normally with my skincare routine and this seemed to be repeated each day I applied the moisturizer and my makeup. So that was a bit of a disappointment really.

Overall, this is a comfortable moisturizer, effective and great to reduce a step and ensure I have my SPF as well when I’m going makeup free, so perfect around the house for everyday. It just doesn’t work for me, with my makeup. On days when I wear makeup I will need to go with another option. I’d also love to see this available in a 50 SPF.

I would still highly recommend you give it a try for your everyday.

Hydratation et protection

Tout d’abord, j’adore les produits aveeno. Je trouve qu’ils sont toujours très doux pour la peau. Cette crème hydrate très bien sans laisser d’effet gras sur la peau ce qui m’a permis de continuer ma routine beauté rapidement le matin. En plus elle contient une protection solaire donc un gros plus pour moi puisque je net toujours de la crème solaire en plus de ma crème hydratante.

Lightweight and not greasy

I received Aveeno Calm+Restore for free in exchange for my honest review. I feels light and does not have a strong fragrance. I would consider buying it in the future if I found out that it was cruelty-free. It is not indicated on the bottle nor online.

Fresh and not greasy

After only using this product for 7 days I feel a difference in my skin. I suffer from very dry, itchy and sometimes flaky skin on my forehead and cheeks which is sometimes red and this moisturizer has left my skin feeling soft and radiant. I like that it has a toner in it which helps even out my skin tone ever so slightly and the fact that it has an SPF of 30 makes me feel confident that my face is protected when I go outside for my daily walks. It goes on easily and does not leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy. It’s even helped soothe my eczema a little. I have been looking for a good daily moisturizer and I think I’ve now found one. I will be buying a bottle on my next trip out to the store. Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin. ♥️♥️♥️

Love it

It goes on so softly and doesn't feel greasy. I love that it has sunscreen in it, because it is lightweight enough to layer under makeup on a regular day.

My latest HolyGrail Sunscreen!

As a sunscreen enthusiast, One of the things I look for in a sunscreen is no white cast, no fragrance and a sunscreen that does not make my face oily or leave any oily residue. The Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30 includes all of the three things I look for in a sunscreen!

What I love about the sunscreen
🩵Very gentle for sensitive skin
🩵No white casts (claims to have no white cast on all skin tones, I noticed it didn’t leave any for myself). The product comes out a peachy color but it did not leave any white casts after rubbing it in.
🩵No sticky residue, dries down almost matte but is still very moisturizing. It’s very lightweight and feels like nothing on the skin.
🩵overall, this sunscreen is fragrance-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, dye-free, alcohol-free, and non-comedogenic, which means it won’t clog pores or cause breakouts making it perfect for sensitive and acne prone skin!

This product also claims to have pure Colloidal Oatmeal and Feverfew that provides all day moisture to keep your skin soft and hydrated.

What I didn’t like:
🩵This isn’t a deal breaker for me but may be for some, it is fragrance free but has a slight scent of oats.

If you are looking for a sunscreen and have sensitive skin, acne prone skin or are looking for a sunscreen that isn’t oily but also hydrating, fragrance free and does not leave any white cast, this sunscreen is for you.
