Left a white cast

While I do like a good multifunctional skincare product in my routine as it helps me save some time (especially during my AM routine), this just wasn't for me.

I liked the texture as it was light weight and had no fragrance, quite moisturizing and soothing but blending it to suit my skin colour tone didn't go well as it left a slight white cast in my skin. It maybe more suitable for use on light skin tones.

Goes on nicely

Goes on easy, lightweight and the skin still moisturized while protecting from the Canadian winter sun rays. Has no scent and has a light tint that isn't too noticeable.

Nice Product

This face cream feels really nice going on and it certainly seems to have helped calm my skin somewhat. I suffer from eczema around my mouth area and the lotion seems to help with that. The only downsides are that it has a bit of a weird texture which I think is from the zinc sunscreen element. It also has a weird odour, not necessarily bad, just not pleasant either. But I would recommend it as an everyday facial moisturizer

Moisturizes and Soothes with a Satin Finish

At this point of mid-winter my skin gets dry with flaky patches, rough texture, and redness. Most sunscreens sting a little and emphasize the dryness, or they are too oily and leave me shiny. It is hard to get the balance just right. This moisturizer with sunscreen gets it right on all fronts. It moisturizes the dry patches, soothes the redness, and leaves a nice satin finish. My skin feels smooth and protected from the dry winter air.

The product is thick but spreads easily and absorbs quickly. I'm very pale and it blends in perfectly. When it comes out of the tube it has a pink beige tint like a primer and I have found that it works like a primer too. It plays well with others. Layering with serums or foundation is no problem. There is no pilling or flaking. It is moisturizing enough that I don’t need a moisturizer underneath like I usually do with other sunscreens. This truly is a moisturizer first. An SPF 30 is enough for me on an average day where I’m not spending a lot of time outdoors. This is a one step and I’m out the door product and I truly appreciate that it is so quick and easy. #GotItFree #Butterly

Acts like a light weight foundation

This is perfect for girls looking for a lightweight foundation - it's coloured, so it can even your skin tone, moisturizing and protecting your skin. It's basically a BB Cream, I would recommend it.

Made my skin dry!

I found this product to be very similar to a foundation texture and I was able to rub it off my skin after I applied it. It also did not moisturizer my face it actually made it feel quite dry and sticky. I do however love that it has SPF in it as it’s good to be using this daily to protect your skin. No fragrance and very light weight. I also love the tint that it has which blends into your skin fast and I’d say it matches all lighter skin tones. Unfortunately it just isn’t for me though.

Light as a feather moisturizer

After giving this a solid week trial, my skin just loves this. I work in a terribly dry environment, so this is the boost I so desperately needed.

It’s gentle for even the most sensitive skin. I have had zero breakouts since starting the Aveeno Calm and Restore. My skin even seems a bit more even and healthier looking, yay!!! I feel like I can skip a my usually serum when using the Aveeno Calm and Restore Moisturizer.

I love that it contains an SPF 30 and that’s great for our not so bright winter days in Canada, in the summer time I may add an additional sunscreen on top. All in all another great well rounded product by Aveeno.

Great sunscrean

This is one of the good sunscreens that are being offered. It doesn't leave white streaks or feel sticky at all. One of the best sunscreens that I use daily.

Not the best fit for my skin

I was really hoping to love this product. Daily moisturizer marketed as lightweight with SPF? Sign me up! But unfortunately this wasn’t the best fit for my combo skin. I had a few issues with this moisturizer: although it felt lightweight on my fingers, as soon as I rubbed it in it started to feel thicker (like a true sunscreen feel), this also had a noticeable white cast even on my pale skin, and it didn’t play well under my foundation. Some positives: it doesn’t have any fragrance which I appreciate. I think this would be better suited for those with drier skin. I will use it up this winter but I would not purchase a replacement.
