I was disappointed in this one

I was disappointed in this one because I have loved the Aveeno calm/restore balm.
This one is thick and pasty.
It does blend easily and has a nice shimmer to it but it feels chalky on the skin and makes every fine line stand out.
My skin feels tight and dry while wearing it.
It changes the shade of my skin and makes me look pale.
You can tell you have zinc oxide on your face.
I love most Aveeno products but not this one.

Made my skin look purple

Not a fan of this product, unfortunately. The lotion did not absorb into my skin well and left me looking purple (I have brown skin). It was hard to get it into my skin and it dried quickly then started to pill.

I was disappointed by this product

I have to say when I tried this product that I had a lot of hope. I love the fact that it's tinted and it has SPF and that's a moisturizer all in one. This product felt more like a mask on my face not a moisturizer it was so drying to my face that I had to put a second moisturizer on.

Sticky Moisturizer

I did not like this moisturizer at all. It was really sticky as I was putting it on, and my face was sticky hours later. It didn't blend into my skin at all, or make it look any smoother or even out my skin tone. After using it for two days, my skin broke out so horribly on my cheeks and chin that I had to quit using it. My skin needs to sweat and this did not allow it to do that. I definitely don't recommend it or buy it again.

Not for dry skin, caused acne

Although I thought this moisturizer would work well with one of its active ingredients being zinc oxide, it was not for me. It comes out as a light peach colour but blends out white leaving a slight white cast. This was fine when covered with makeup but the product leaves dry patches on the skin even with prior skin prep and moisturizer. This shouldn’t happen with a moisturizer product. It’s patchy and doesn’t blend out very evenly. On top of this it made me break out like crazy after years of clear skin! I got large and small pimples on my forehead, cheeks, jaw and neck (everywhere where I applied the moisturizer); including painful pimples that were a centimetre in diameter.Overall, I will not continue to use it or recommend it to anyone especially if you have dry skin.

Disappointed

I found this felt sticky when applying it and didn't feel like it was moisturizing at all. My skin was still very flaky the whole time I tested the product. My kid tried it and didn't like it at all either.

Not for brown and dark skin people

It left the dreaded purple and white cast on my face. Maybe if you use it as a base and apply makeup over it it can work, but as someone who is strictly skincare, this was not the product for me. Not dark skin friendly

Not ideal for dark skin

It wasn’t until my mid 20s that I learned how important it was to wear SPF daily… regardless of the weather, or skin tone, and especially the hen using chemical exfoliants. I now have a couple go to SPF moisturizers, but I was excited to try out Aveeno’s since I already use & love the face cleanser in the Calm + Restore line.

After testing the product out I was happy with the non-greasy formula and its ability to smooth and soften skin without causing reactivity, however disappointed in the “ for all skin tones” claim. The product left a white cast to any area it was applied (product was applied or half of the face in picture) .

The product is overall well formulated to keep the skin protected and moisturized but you don’t get to reap the benefits if your skin isn’t fair enough.

Want to love it.. but, don't, sadly..

I love Aveeno. I use many Aveeno products. I really wanted to love this product mainly because it offered Spf protection. But, I found it too thick and VERY sticky and left a greasy feel and appearance. It doesn't soak into the skin.

Not for Dark Skin Tones

I would not recommend this product for dark skin individuals like myself. I like the fact that this moisturizer included sunscreen in it. However, this moisturizer leaves a cast on my face and it does not blend into my skin.
