Disappointed

When I received this product I had Very high hopes. I had heard it wad light weight, so it wouldn't feel cakey on sensitive skin and that Avneeno products were good For people with sensitive skin.
I put it on the first time, and it felt heavy on my skin so I immediately had to wash it off. I decided to give my skin a days rest and tried again, the same thing unfortunately. I tried it a third day, again the same result.
I am disappointed. I wanted so badly to see the results promised, and because of how it feels on my skin cannot do so.

Unfortunately Not Brown Skin Friendly

I was excited to try Aveeno's daily moisturizer with SPF, but unfortunately it does not blend into my brown skin at all. I don't think the claim can be made that it "blends into all skin tones" when it has a pink colour. When I first put it on, it had a very strong white cast and once it dried (about 5 minutes of rubbing the product into my skin) it made my skin look grey. It was also very difficult to blend into my skin. I would suggest we stop making products "one size fits all" and start creating products that can specialize on our various skin tones and undertones. I hope we can start making products more inclusive for darker skin tones.

It never fully dries or absorbs into skin

Thanks to Butterly I got to try this Aveeno daily moisturizer spf 30 for free in exchange for my honest review. This product is more of a sunscreen than a moisturizer to me. Also, it is slightly tinted which is important to mention because it doesn't say that anywhere on the box. I am very pale and when I first apply it there is a slight white cast but that goes away as I blend it out. However, I let my mom who is very tan try it and it left a noticeable white cast on her. I like the sleek tube it comes in and I also like the fact that it doesn't smell like a sunscreen. It just has a very neutral scent. What ruins it for me is the fact that no matter how long you wait it never feels like it fully dries or absorbs into the skin. It is always slightly sticky.

Nice but...

I tried it a few times but still not convinced that I would use it again. The shade seems a bit strange at first but at some point it seems to blend in. The thing that I dislike the most is the texture once it's applied. My skin is left feeling a bit sticky and it feels strange. I don't like the feel of it and I ended up washing it off a few times because it was bugging me. I tried putting less but it doesn't make any difference. I like that it's soothing and not itching.

Very sticky texture

I was really happy to get the opportunity to try out the Aveeno Calm and Restore Daily Moisturizer. Unfortunately I was disappointed by this product because I really enjoy Aveeno and I really wanted to love this. The texture of the moisturizer wasn't what I was expecting as it was a very sticky texture and not at all pleasant to put on my face. I found the product would roll off my face a bit when trying to rub it into my face and while eventually the stickiness went away after a few minutes I wasn't feeling left hydrated the way I expected to be considering the ingredients in the formula. I tried the product both alone and under makeup and and both times I experienced the moisturizer would stick to my very dry patches and roll off. It did do well under make up for a few hours but by the end off the day I was feeling very dry and my makeup had caked a bit. The product while fragrance free I did get the smell of the oat pull through as I am very sensitive to smells but this wasn't super unpleasant and it also didn't smell like sunscreen like I find most moisturizer do when they have SPF in them so that was also nice. The product comes out in a pink tint but goes on and blends into the skin, though I found it left a bit of a white cast on my face after application. My skin didn't become irritated til the end of the day when I noticed I had become a bit red and hot in the cheek area as that's where I tend to be more dry as well the product clung to the dry patches. Also upon application I noticed the more I was to rub the product into my skin the more the moisturizer would pill up and flake off. I'm always happy to find a product that moisturizes and gives skin protection and as such was really pleased to know that the moisturizer contained SPF 30 along with it being hypoallergenic and fragrance free as my skin is sensitive and needs a little extra love. Over all I think a light layer of product is best and the less you rub it in the better. Another plus in my book is that the formula felt light weight and didn't clog my pores so there is no fear of it breaking me out. I also really liked the packaging as its very clean and simple in design and the twist on cap clicks right onto place nicely. Its a great size to pop in your bag on the go or while traveling without fear it bursting open and product going everywhere. I also super appreciate the packaging to be made with 40% post consumer recycled plastic to me a brand that is all about care for the planet and being sustainable. The formula isn't a hit for me personally and at the price point is is I wont be purchasing it.

Breaks up under makeup

This may be just an ok product on its own, but not for me.
It made my foundation break up and look so cakey, my other spf doesn’t do that. I also found you need to use a decent amount to cover your whole face.
The ONLY thing I liked about this is that it is fragrance free and mineral.

Disappointed

I was really looking forward to this product arriving. When it did, I did my nightly routine and I put the Aveeno on in place of my regular moisturizer. Initially, it was smooth and absorbed into my skin really well. However, every other time I used it, the product did not absorb. It left a sticky residue on top of my skin. It was very unpleasant and I did not find any improvement in my skin

I was excited to try this as I love how it claims to be free of the things, I don't like in my skincare products; fragrance, dyes, alcohol etc...but was sadly let down by this product.

I will say that it does have a light fragrance that smells like oats. I tried this product for a few days but found it really heavy on my skin and it didn't even my skin tone at all. If you do not use primer, it does not go on smoothly and is hard to blend on your face. Instead of being lightweight, it made my skin feel like it had a coating on it.

I didn't like this product at all and stopped using if after 5-6 days.

Not for me

The cream wasn't for me. It created a white layer on my face that it was hard to blend it completely and It looked dry. Even though the cream tone was ideal for my skin tone. The cream maybe works in mixed skin.

Just okay.

This moisturizer is decent and Aveeno typically is great for sensitive skin but this made me soooo itchy and I wear makeup daily. This product does not play well with makeup and would cause to pill horribly.
