Not heavy and actually felt breathable

I wear a sunscreen daily and have never found one that I truly loved. The Aveeno almost hit that milestone for me but I felt like my face looked pretty white after the application. It did leave my skin feeling good, no clogged pores and overall I didn't see any redness from being in the outdoors all day, so it did do it's job. My face feels hydrated and I didn't get any blemishes from it. I have used it faithfully everyday for 30 days.

Thick texture and pills

This is a mineral sunscreen and moisturizer that feels light on the skin. It has a slightly thick texture that is a bit difficult to spread out evenly on the skin and tends to pill. For textured skin, this moisturizer settled around pores and fine lines and the product seemed to pill more noticeably around these areas. It does have a white cast that appears to brighten up my light-medium skin tone. As a moisturizer, I don't find it to be sufficiently moisturizing or hydrating for combination skin. Because of the pilling and strong cast I won't recommend this product.

Disappointing from Aveeno

I absolutely love Aveeno products so when I saw this new product, I was excited. I didn't find it made any difference to my skin tone and it was a weird texture once you started to rub it in. The smell is a mild sunscreen smell but overall I had higher hopes for this.

This has a tint that isn't advertised

This moisturizer has a tint that isn't advertised on the packaging. It was to light for my skintone to use for during the day use, but I used it at night and it worked well. Kept me hydrated and moisturized through the night without being to heavy.

Doesn’t blend with all skin colours

This product worked fine on me but I asked my gf to try it and she has darker skin and it turned her face blue, other than that it works well. Haven’t tried in the sun yet

Not for me

I have very dry skin and this was not enough moisturizer for me
It seemed to give the illusion that my skin looked brighter.
I like Aveeno products but need something stronger for my mature skin

Great for normal skin

I love aveeno products and am a huge supporter of their brand so when I saw this I was beyond excited and wanted to try it as I do have sensitive skin. However I found the product drying and the pigment separates on the face only highlighting the dryness its creating. The concept is a great idea and I think it would be perfect for very normal non sensitive skin

Too thick

I received the Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer with Mineral SPF for free from Butterly to try it out.

I have to say, I wasn’t a fan. I found it too thick to be used as a daily cream under my make up. I took a fair amount of rubbing into my skin for the white colour of the cream to disappear. I also found my skin getting somewhat greasy midday, which it doesn’t normally with other creams.

That being said, once it was on, I could see myself using it on a no makeup day if I was working out in the yard thanks to the sunscreen. It didn’t cause any reaction at all to my eyes, which sometimes happens with other sunscreens on my face.
